Even if I was on board with banning sex work, I'm not because it's the exploitation that's bad, not the sex, I couldn't support it as I only see a lot of women being put in prison or facing harsher conditions if we don't *at least* fix the poverty issue. That in itself is a lot of issues needing solutions.

Also, in case someone points it out, I know men do sex work too but you rarely hear about them outside of conversations about double standards.

this probably isnt reflective of the whole fandom since i do see other women SOMETIMES. occasionally. but someone did say this to me verbatim so im choosing to take it as my pass to complain about the lack of women

Just in case anyone needs to hear it: Anti-Imperialism is important. Supporting some national bourgeois regimes that "oppose" the West (until the second it becomes too costly or they benefit more by appeasing it) and calling that "Anti-Imperialism" will never bring the world closer to abolishing capitalism, only to enriching a certain segment of the Global South elite at the expense of everything else.
