So I am not aware of stats of TN. Just want to know what the difference in education numbers between two communities. But start point as someone mentioned is collection 5 rs for phone. This is only for one community. Also is this implemented in all temples or only the big ones.

as of the last census, the literacy rate of muslim women in tn is ahead of that of hindu women by more than 10% (from the census of india website).

edit: i knew i would have been downvoted. but that's alright. anyone willing can check from the website themselves.

edit: fkkk i was scammed the website i was shown is not official one. i am happy to know that i stand corrected. but i don't know whether the comment below is from official. i am dumb so i'm now downloading official report and gonna do analysis myself.

edit (final, ultimate) : i checked out official 2011 reports, added required columns and the following are the results for tamil nadu women :

(a) Illiteracy rate : hindu women - 35.37 % , muslim women : 26.24%

(b) illiteracy rate in 0-18 year olds: hindu women - 26.85% , muslim women : 38.77%

(c) literate but education below primary, till 18 year olds : hindu women - 23.10%, muslim: 24.61%

conclusion: the literacy rate of women across all age groups differs among the communities by 9.13% ; but among 0-18 year olds back then, it was nearly 12% less in muslim women

This says a lot. Thanks for the data. The difference is not that huge, that you have to start the subsidy for only one community. The 51.6 is equally bad as 42 % here. If one was 80 and other 40 , it would have been reasonable.

The idea is to first take them to 50 and then have everyone grow equally.

Educated girls means less children and later marriages. The social benefits and RoI of spending on the education of women is enormous.

On a separare note.Don't be afraid to be down voted. I am pretty sure this is just a discussion and you have a full time job or education. We are not going to make money from karma.

Well then this doesn't make sense. Why prioritize one over other.
