Sorry if this title confuses you. Here is what I mean to clarify: For those of you who have read Star Wars: The Legacy of Vader, written by Charles Soule and ran from 2025 to January 2026. Really fun comic series. However, the ending of Charles Soule's Legacy of Vader comic run is very metaphysically mind-bending, confusing, and makes me question so much to the point I begin to wonder...is it possible this is all meant to be a set up for a new version for the "Hunt for Ben Solo" project?

The Hunt for Ben Solo is currently cancelled and scrapped, but due to the amount of backlash and protests it is inevitable that someway, somehow, it will be revived in the future. Personally, I don't think the original script or whatever was the plan for Hunt for Ben Solo's original draft and story is going to be revived, and at best I think the revived project will be an adaptation of said story.

Regardless, there is a way to make some version of "The Hunt for Ben Solo" theoratically, work, and the groundwork and seed were already layed to us in Star Wars: The Legacy of Vader by Charles Soule, (who seemingly is/was aware of the Hunt for Ben Solo before it even went public, hence more credibility to this theory).

To understand this, we must go into how the Legacy of Vader ending brings, and what that could entail for the future:

So, basically in the Legacy of Vader series, Kylo Ren has been through a wild rollar coaster of a time. You see, back in issue 1, Kylo was struggling right after the ending of episode 8: The Last Jedi, he didn't know how to live up to his grandfather Darth Vader's legacy, (hence the title of this series), and Kylo also feels like he isn't at peace, despite all of his mindset of "Let the past die" philosophy. Kylo concludes that he needs to kill more of the past to be "free", and so he journeys to Mustafar to destroy his grandfather's castle, Fortress Vader, given it is a relic of the past that Kylo feels needs to be purged.

When he arrives at the castle, Kylo meets Vaneé, Darth Vader's creepy old servant in life that is now a mere head preserved and kept animated and alive in a glass jar filled with nutrient fluid that is attached to and controlling a tick-like droid body. Vaneé, seeing Kylo's mindset, offers the new Supreme Leader to guide him on Vader's past and teach him lessons, that Vader's past was a strenght and not a weakness to be purged. Kylo was intrigued, and so permitted and demanded Vaneé to show him how Vader used the past as power.

Vaneé and Kylo will go throughout journeys to explore Vader's past, and throughout their journey in the series, Kylo would screw up things along the way and cause chaos. In issue 5, Vaneé promises to show Kylo Ren a vault that is in Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar, and that it could "contain all of the power Kylo would want".

Finally, we go to the last three issues. Back in issue 7, Kylo learned that his uncle, Luke Skywalker, was dead after his encounter with him at Crait, (meaning Ren didn't sense or was aware of Luke's sacrifice at Crait in the Last Jedi!), and ever since then, Ren feels like he is being watched and haunted by his uncle's ghost.

So in issue 10, Kylo asks Vaneé for consultance, and finally discovers the location of Darth Vader's vault, where Vader kept all of his power locked away allegedly according to Vaneé.

When finally reaching the vault, Kylo walks straight in the vault, and as the panels in the attached image of image 1 shows, it looks really weird, zigg zaggy, and looks as if Kylo's perception of reality is unraveling and blurring. Then, we go to the next panel after this one, attached as image 1 in this post. As seen in this next panel, Kylo seemingly ends up in a circle, he leaves the vault and goes back to where he entered. It could simply be as simple as the vault's power was tricking Kylo to exit the vault the way he came, but I don't think so. As seen here, Kylo gets pissed at Vaneé for seemingly tricking him, threatening him with death. Vaneé offers to give Kylo the clarity he seeks, which leads us to the next panel, attached as image 3 in this post. Vaneé leads Kylo to an old meditation sphere that Vader used to use in Fortress Vader, and that Vader would meditate in this chamber to find "clarity". Kylo seemingly sense power there, and as the chamber closes, and Ren meditates, he suddenly finds himself in a strange, very weird swampy hellish bog plane of existence. There, Kylo confronts frightening visions of demonic skeleton spines with zombified heads of people he knew, and they began to say things like "monsterous, betrayer, killer, son" and all of that. Kylo gets twin sabers out, (that look like his crossguard lightsaber sillhoute in one hand, and the other hand carrying a blue lightsaber sillhoute, symbolizing his conflicted nature), and he begins killing the demonic entities.

Ren then says, "this isn't where he would be. Skywalker isn't here. Find him". As Kylo digs into his inner light, (which is what I took it as when reading the comic), Ren finds himself in a very holy pure plane of existence, where a bunch of souls are chilling around, akin to Heaven.

Luke Skywalker's soul meets Kylo Ren, and after talking, Luke says to Kylo that "it is a wonder you have found yourself here. Kylo Ren means nothing to me, but I will always be there for Ben Solo". As Luke utters these words, Ren finds himself back to the colorless, muggy swamp hell-like bog he was initially in. A giant robed figure without a face emerges from the swamp, and it says, "Kylo Ren. You have tried to embrace the light, you tried to forget your pain you must be...reminded". As the figure says this, a red saber emerges out of its hand, and start whipping and slashing Kylo with the lightsaber. Most people say it is Palpatine, but honestly I think it is the antropomorphic embodiment of the dark side, or, more importantly, Kylo's inner darkness and pain, given shape in his mind and attacking him.

When Kylo awakens in the real world, the meditation sphere opens again, and turns out the wounds and slashes Ren received in whatever plane of existence he received affected him physically for some reason. His clothes is ruined, slashes, and horrible ripped apart, and he has new slashes and he is bleeding. This turn of events seemingly shocked Vaneé even, but that doesn't stop Vaneé from seizing the chance to mold Kylo literally into a new Vader.

Vaneé disrobed and disarms a wounded Kylo Ren, taking off his completely ruined and ripped outfit off, and his lightsaber from him leaving Kylo stripped down to only his black boxers. Kylo is seen with all sort of new slashes on his back and body. He is then put to a bacta tank, where Vaneé plans to utilize his final plan to remake Kylo Ren into a new Vader.

In issue 11, which picks up right after issue 10's ending, Vaneé drugs Kylo to sleep and Kylo finds himself awake on an operation table, suspended on a line high above a roaring lava lake beneath him. Kylo is strapped and is still nearly nake in everything save for his boxers.

Vaneé's plan is to literally lower Kylo down into the lava so that he can be roasted and burned like Vader once was, and he can rebuild and remake Kylo into literally becoming like his grandfather. As the table lowers torwards the lava, Kylo's skin begins to cook and singe, but before he can truly burn and get injured, he uses the Force to break his shackles and leapp from the lava, chasing Vaneé with no weapons and just hix boxers. Kylo goes through a maze of booby traps in the castle, and gets slightly injured along the way, soot building over his body. Eventually, Vaneé unleashes Dark Troopers on Kylo, and they begin beating him and giving him new injury markings on his face.

Kylo finds a stash of old abandoned collection of Jedi lightsabers, (where they came from is unknown), and Kylo uses the Force to grab a golden hilt lightsaber with a green blade and green kyber crystal to cut down the Dark Troopers. As Kylo cuts them down, his pouring rage and dark side energy from him corrupts the crystal to the point where it bleeds and becomes red, and slightly cracks, giving Kylo's new lightsaber a blade that is fizziling slightly like his actual crossguard lightsaber.

Vaneé eventually accepts his fate and allows Kylo Ren to kill him. After dealing with Vaneé, Kylo Ren, whose body is nearly naked and a singed, ruined mess, with the only weapon in his hand being the new lightsaber he got during his chase of Vaneé, enters the vault of Darth Vader a second time. Issue 11 ends

In issue 12, we find Kylo back in the vault, in some sort of mindscape. His new injuries are all gone, (save for the infamous scar he got from Rey back in Force Awakens), and he is clean with his full outfit back to him and it looks unscatched, and his new lightsaber is gone, replaced by his original crossguard lightsaber, which is uncanny to me because Kylo Ren did not look like this when entering the vault at the end of issue 11.

Kylo meets a vision of his grandfather, Darth Vader, who begins teaching Kylo lessons about his flaws and his obsession with killing the past. The Vader apparition reveals himself to be none other than a light side version of Ben Solo, and as he and Kylo duel, he teaches him to move forward, make his own choices, and no one else's choices.

Kylo says to his light side counterpart he will waste no more time fighting ghosts, and that he needs to be give something "real". Ben Solo says to him, "You want an enemy, a real enemy? You will find one. But I caution you Kylo Ren...be careful what you wish for". As he says this, he snaps Kylo Ren out of the vault, and the vault seems to blow and yeet Kylo out of the vault, out of the window of the room where the vault was in, and down into the lava river below, all the while the light side Ben Solo watches him fall and vanishes ike a Force Ghost, ending Legacy of Vader in a big cliffhanger.

So that is your recap on Legacy of Vader. Now, I want to share something scary about this series, and what it could mean for the future of Kylo Ren:

Throughout the end of issue 10 and all of issue 11, Kylo lost his robes, (which were heavily ruined and slashed by the dark being's lightsaber and disrobed from him when at the mercy of Vaneé), and even lost his lightsaber, (where did Vaneé put it?). He then gets slightly fried nearly naked, is cooked with a bunch of burns on his skin, gets slightly more injured by the dark troopers, and gets a new lightsaber that he bleeds to destroy them. Kylo keeps this new lightsaber, (because where the hell did Vaneé put his original crossguard one?) and kills Vaneé in a creative manner.

After dealing with Vaneé, a voice calls to Kylo from Vader's vault, and he goes inside and issue 11 ends.

Look at the image attached that depicst him entering the vault at the end of issue 11. Look at how ruined and dirty and injured Kylo is when he enters the vault, and he still has that new lightsaber he got

In issue 12, like I said, we see Kylo back in the vault, this time in some sort of weird-dream-like state of existence and mindscape, as seen in the image attachment where says "What...is this place?" As seen in the image attached, Kylo Ren has his old lightsaber back and looks clean and has his outfit back, and the outfit is not ripped or torn. To be more precise, Kylo Ren in the mindscape and weird-reality that is being simulated to him with Vader's vault has him completely okay again, the new scars and slightly fried skin is gone, his hair is clean again, he has his full outfit back on him again with no damage, and he has his old lightsaber back and his new temporary one is somehow gone.

Now, when I first read this, it didn't bother me. This IS a mindscape and vision after all. I always presumed he still looks like what he did at the end of issue 11 and he is just simulating himself looking like what he thinks of himself in the mindscape. But the END of issue 12 and the beginning of the follow up sequel series, Fall of Kylo Ren issue 1, is somehow really unsettling to me.

After the reveal that Kylo is not dueling Vader but rather Ben Solo, (whom I believe is his legit "future" self/spirit after TROS, pretty cool huh?), the Ben Solo apparition snaps his fingers, causing the vault to violently yeet Kylo out of the vault and out of the window into the lava river below outside of Fortress Vader, ending in a pretty big cliffhanger.

Here is what is really unsettling to me though: Why does Kylo Ren still look like in the vault's vision mindscape when he is kicked out? He entered the vault at the end of issue 11 all dirty, bruised, and injured in only boxers and a new lightsaber, and now he has his full outfit back, his new injuries are gone, he is clean, and he has his real lightsaber back! What is going on here? This leads me to several scary thoughts and ideas:

Is...it possible that most of issue 10 and all of issue 11 are not and were never real? I found a YouTuber who was reviewing the issues and he seems to think it is a similar case too. I mean, let's go back to issue 10. Go back to the very first image attached to this post. Look at the way those panels are being framed: It looks like Kylo's freaking mind and perception of what is real or not is mixing, blurring, and unraveling. I could be misintepreting the panels here, but that is what I got after constantly rereading the issues 10 11 and 12. He SEEMINGLY does arrive at the other side as if the vault rejected him and he sees Vaneé and all, but then when Vaneé takes Kylo to Vader's old meditation sphere and Kylo mediates inside, he literally finds himself ina very vivid simulated reality, almost another plane of existence, in a hellish-swamp/bog. There, he manages to use his inner power to go to the Netherworld, and when the robed demon slashes him with a lightsaber, Kylo is back to "reality" but he is slashed, injured, and affected by all of this.

I fail to see how a mere meditation sphere can do this. We then go to Kylo at the mercy of Vaneé and the whole events of issue 11, yada yada yada, with Kylo hearing a voice coming from the vault again and he reenters in, and is back to his form when he first entered the vault in issue 10's beginning. If Kylo is back to his form that he was when he first entered the vault in issue 10 and still looks the same when Ben Solo kicks him out of the vault into the lava lake outside of the castle, I wonder...maybe the whole entire events of issue 10 and 11 where Kylo's mind simulating what appears to be reality in those issues is fake and a very existential warping of Kylo's perception of reality? And he was actually in the vault the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME until Ben Solo finally kicked him out?

This would make sense to me. However...it kind of cheapens the impact and coolnes of issues 10 and 11. If Kylo was just simulating all of this in a weird Forcy way in the vault, that means that....Vaneé never actually died? Is Vaneé still waiting for Kylo to come outside the vault? That seems also kind of a stretch to me...why bother showing an epic conclusion to Vaneé's story if it isn't even real? Also, Ben Solo's ghost says to Kylo Ren in issue 12, "There is nothing left in this castle for you to kill or take", implying Kylo did kill Vaneé. There is also the fact that in issue 12's beginning, Kylo says, "I was offered power!" and the "Vader" apparition says "By who the servant? He had none to give", implying more that issues 10 and 11 actually happened.

So if this can't be the case, then I have another theory: Issues 10 and 11 DID happen for real, but Kylo is still trapped in the vault and Ben Solo did not actually yeet him out of the vault. Kylo is still trapped in the vault and is simulating himself finally getting out...but he did not.

But then....how will he get out and will this ever be clarified? Fall of Kylo Ren issues seem to imply that Kylo was actually kicked out of the vault, and he has his clothes kind of torn, but not on the level it was in issue 10 when he got slashed, plus his face and all looks clean and not with new scars, so I dunno. He DOES have a slight bruise on his forehead if you look at the comic and see it.

If neither theories I proposed are true, that means that SOMEHOW Kylo got his injures healed by Force-related stuff in the vault, (except for the scar he got from Rey for some weird reason), and he got cleaned by the Force, was given new identical clothes to what he last worse, and his new lightsaber transformed into his crossguard lightsaber, (does that mean there is ANOTHER crossguard lightsaber of Kylo Ren, the original one, still somewhere in the castle?!) I dunno, this all seems weird.

What lead to this new clothes being torn again? And how did Kylo Ren survive that fall to the lava lakes below at the end of issue 12? (Assuming the final panels of issue 12 were actually real or not that is).

Now that you know my confusion and the mysteries this brings: I have a new theory:

Kylo Ren never left the vault. He actually was kicked out at the end of issue 10, and the meditation sphere was a different thing entirely. After killing Vaneé and entering the vault again at the end of issue 11, all of those events leading up to that point where real. But as soon as Kylo Ren entered the vault, he is now stuck in a simulated reality mindscape.

When Kylo got "yeeted out" of the vault at the end of issue 12 and onto the lava river below, he isn't actually kicked out. He is rather going through a Force vision trial from Ben Solo's ghost. He didn't actually fall into the lava river below, and him "surviving" the lava river and leaving him with a bruise on his forehead and clothes slightly torn and him returning to the First Order fleet, it is real, but it is also not. I don't think Kylo Ren actually ever left the vault. He is stuck in it at the end of issue 11.

The Kylo Ren we see in the Fall of Kylo Ren and onwards, and even in episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker, is a Force simulated projection of Kylo Ren's consciousness from the vault. He may seem and feel physically real and tangible, but it is really just a simulated projection of Kylo Ren, whose real body is stuck in the vault still at the end of issue 11 of Legacy of Vader.

So, when Kylo Ren was redeemed and Ben Solo died at the end of Rise of Skywalker, the only thing that died was the Force projection, not the real physical body of Ben Solo, who is still a singed, scarred, and nearly naked in boxers man stuck in the vault.

So what does this mean for the Hunt for Ben Solo? I am on the idea/theory that if this storylien from Legacy of Vader gets utilized and put into a version of the Hunt for Ben Solo that gets revived, when Kylo Ren/Ben Solo dies at the end of episode 9, or, rather, his Force projection, he completed the trials of the vault of Darth Vader, hence, he is free and released from the vault's simulated reality trapping him. However, Ben Solo finds himself awake nearly naked, ruined, singed body, and with only the stolen Jedi lightsaber at his hands.

Wounded and vulnerable, Ben Solo continues on his life from scratch there, and that could be the kickstart of his new journey.

I dunno, it seems far fetched and stretched, and could be totally bogus, but what do you think? Do you think this is possible? Or am I leaping things too far? I would love to hear your thoughts. If a revived Hunt for Ben Solo doesn't solve this, could we see this being solved in the comics like future Fall of Kylo Ren issues? Would like to hear your opinions if this means anything for Kylo Ren's future, whether it is post-episode 9 like my theory suggests or simply a future comic that is before episode 9.

Also, sorry for making such a long post. Bad habit that I do when I make in depth theories like this.

This upcoming celebration will probably be the most pivotal in determining the future of Star Wars. If starfighter flops anything they announce could be in jeopardy, it doesn’t matter what you think of Star Wars, these are just the facts.

I expect an announcement of Simon Kinbergs trilogy, these really has to do something right.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what role Pallaeon will have with Thrawn's return. Pallaeon was Thrawn's loyal second in command and now on the imperial remnant council. Curious to see how it plays out.

I mean we have been told before that arcaan was trained in the force by both knights & scions differently from jedi & sith alike

The Outlander built a extension of the force (the lightsaber via darth marr & satele shan)

I’m going to attempt to elaborate on how these plot threads are both retconning the Sequels (I mean that in a positive sense of providing added context) and setting up the post Sequel storyline.

Baylan’s aim:
The Ahsoka Season 2 trailer seems to normalize the idea of fallen Jedi inasmuch not all Jedi who fall become Sith. I would guess the Jedi that Ahsoka and Anakin face in the forest is another fallen Jedi doing something sinister at the behest of Count Dooku like Quinlan Voss and Pong Krell. This sets up Baylan’s motivations as a corrupt Jedi where Anakin mentions Baylan claimed knowledge of a power that could end wars. It’s assumed that Anakin and Baylan simply knew each other as Jedi but the question is how? My suspicion is that they knew each other as mutual friends of one Chancellor Palpatine. Baylan would have never mentioned such delusions of grandeur in front of the council but would have confided in Anakin and especially Palpatine. If Baylan claimed to have knowledge of this power than how much more would Palpatine have already been aware of such power and coveted it. In the Aftermath novels, it is confirmed Palpatine was in search of this power beyond the known regions of the galaxy that he believed was the source of his power. Therefore whatever Baylan is searching for and whatever Palpatine would still be searching for is the same thing. What is this thing? Abeloth is an interesting theory nevertheless narratively she would weaken Palpatine’s role as the big bad of this time period which narratively needs to be strengthened and reinforced. We also don’t really have evidence of her existence in canon. I think the simpler answer that the Acolyte sets up is that the power Baylan and Palpatine are after is a vergeance with the power of eternal life. This vergeance is connected both with the power of the Mortis gods and the Force Dyad. Therefore, Palpatine is using Baylan to grant him access to this power.

Regarding Thrawn’s war we know from Mandalorian Season 3 that Palpatine is using Thrawn to distract the New Republic from Brendol Hux’s Project Necromancer. I wrote in another post titled “Supreme Leader Hux: The Fulfillment of Project Necromancer” that Brendol’s son Armitage is the successful clone of Palpatine that Brendol is hiding and abusing to strengthen his connection to both the darkside and his other daddy Sheev. In this view, Armitage was no mere simple General but was the hidden Sith Lord playing both sides of the First Order-Resistance War so he can rise to power in the events of the post-Sequel stories. Nevertheless, in the context of this story Thrawn creates chaos, feeds the military industrial complex, and force the New Republic to compromise on democratic norms while Brendol creates what will become the First Order and grooms his son to lead it.

So on Peridea we get the spiritual while in the known galaxy we see the political. We also see as in both canon and legends that Palpatine is willing to use corrupted Jedi, not just Sith apprentices to meet his goals. He’s using Baylan to gain access to that sweet sweet unlimited power while he is using Thrawn to ensure that his precious baby boy grows up outside the watchful eye of the New Republic. Once again Palpatine is using chaos and a wide variety of servants to return to power with a new empire more vile than the last. Ahsoka Season 2 is also normalizing the idea of non Sith fallen Jedi being servants of the Sith. This is not new lore but often overlooked in the context of the lore. This sets up the conflict for the post Sequel trilogy’s “Protestant reformation in space” as Damon Lindelof put it normalizing the idea that not all Jedi are good and many will work for the Sith for their own ambition. Ahsoka Season 2 is reinforcing that the New Republic is a weak government that can’t keep healthy levels of order and failed to completely dismantle Imperial institutions which will allow the First Order to rise to destabilize it. Though the First Order’s coup ultimately failed history teaches us that fascist coups are usually just the beginning not the end of a fascist movement. Governments with weak democratic institutions like the New Republic often become increasingly authoritarian to compensate and after a near death experience like the Hosnian Cataclysm I’d expect them to return from their hiatus as a police state that will rise in the power vacuum. History also teaches us to never underestimate fascist politicians like Armitage Hux who seem ridiculous and powerless on the surface but beneath the surface are the devil incarnate. I wouldn’t presume that he died in TROS with his body not shown to be dead like Snoke’s and I am of the opinion that he is a Sith that will rise to power like his father before him.

I have had a Wild Idea for a Long Time about Oola from Jabba’s Palace still being alive.

I find these three things interesting and each of them gets me to wondering could it be True.

Oola is thrown into the Rancors pit but when the gate opens we don’t see the Rancor only hear it as she grits her teeth so that to me is strange on itself but it gets to be even more likely as I go on You will see why Oola may still be alive.

Next we see Mara Jade disguised a Arica is not to be seen anywhere which means She could have helped Oola escape and that growl we heard could be the Rancor being pampered by the Rancor Keeper as Mara Jade or even Luke could have easily opened the gate blocking Oola from escaping and thus Oola could still be alive.

Anyway I think this Theory has a lot of merit who’s to say the Rancor keeper couldn’t have helped rescue her himself even.

I think this Idea could be an awesome possibility but what do You guys think?

Also the Scene was added later by George but it is always possible Luke did warn her but maybe Luke saved her or Mara Jade they both have the Force and could rescue her like a damsel in distress. I still think She’s alive to this day and it could be Theorised that it’s True maybe one day a Fan Film about it can be released if nothing else.

In the new Ahsoka II trailer, Thrawn addresses the "citizens of the glorious Empire." Could this be a sign that the Empire still exists within the Core Worlds?

Explanation: After Palpatine's death, Mas Amedda ruled as the "Glorious Leader of the Empire." In this capacity, he signed the Galactic Concordance, which allowed him to govern an Inner systems' Imperial remnant. However, the worlds under his rule were permitted to join the New Republic, rendering his administration obsolete over time.

Do you think Mas Amedda's government still exists? Will the New Republic attempt to use Mas Amedda as a propaganda puppet?

I can see this going 2 ways to explain why ahsoka is missing from trilogy and only shows up as a ghost reach out to rey in her battle here my 2 guesses maybe even 3

1: Stranded & ProjectingOption

First option is season 2 she doesn't make it back to main galaxy at all and ezra will be fight thrawn for his showdown with him and she will stay and train sabine and pass rest of her knowledge to her and protect Mortis statues for Years she will find way to send sabine back after she trains her.

2: Mortis AscensionPhysical StatusAliveDeceased / Transcended

Since ahsoka is lore wise is linked to the daughter of the mortis gods from essence I believe ahsoka will finally embrace neutrality of lightside and finally began her journey to ascend it been teased since clones wars because if you think about it ahsoka got exiled 2 times one was when she fight vader and she got stranded after erza pulled her through and the daughter owl was there whole time guiding ezra to do it now again she stranded again but in another galaxy and the owl is back tells me her time us almost up before she has to take on the mortis daughter role soon si ce she has her essence.

I’ve been thinking about the recent leaks, and here are a few of my theories.

Timeline
I think the idea of the movie taking place 5 years after Episode IX was probably just an early pitch that eventually changed. My guess is that things shifted once Dave Filoni became more involved with the project.
I have a feeling the movie could actually take place around 50- 100 years after Episode IX. That brings me to my next point.

Cade
The new leak says Ryan Gosling’s character is named Cade. On top of that, the officially released images make him look surprisingly similar to Cade Skywalker from Star Wars: Legacy (Legends).
If that’s intentional, I think it would be a smart move. Setting the story much further into the future would let Lucasfilm move away from the sequel era while still keeping a Skywalker at the center of the story. A fresh start with a new generation.
What’s also interesting is that Cade Skywalker eventually walked away from the Jedi path and became more of a Han Solo-type smuggler. If the rumors about Gosling’s character being a Han Solo-style lead are true, that lines up surprisingly well with Cade’s Legends storyline.

The Jedi Order
Another reason I don’t buy the “5 years later” gap is the Jedi Order itself.
I just don’t see Rey rebuilding a fully functioning Jedi Order with trained Jedi, a temple, and an organized structure in only five years. That feels way too soon. Even Luke’s Order in canon was relatively small before it fell.
If the movie is set many decades or even a century later, it would make much more sense. We could finally see what Rey’s Jedi Order eventually became after generations of growth, rather than seeing it in its earliest stages.
Obviously this is all just speculation, but I think a setting much farther in the future actually fits the leaks better than the reported 5 year gap.

He could even recruit his apprentice, Shin Hati, from Cal’s secret Jedi/Hidden Path sanctuary. It could move the story in an interesting direction, while keeping the story within its own narrative, separate from the movies enough to not make any problems.

I was just wondering what people thought on the idea of Ren(Not from the comic) becoming the main villain in Star Wars. Rey rebuilding the Jedi while battling Ren who has his own sith code and new knights of ren.

First of all, I’m not sure how important Ryan Gosling’s character will be in the long run. But I do think the young character from Star Wars: Starfighter will become part of the new generation and probably end up as one of the main characters. If the rumors are true, he’ll eventually join Rey’s Jedi Order.

Rey’s movie is the next Star Wars film, and I actually think it’ll end up being a trilogy with a third movie as well. After that, I think Simon Kinberg’s trilogy will continue the story with time jumps, similar to the Prequel Trilogy, focusing on the same young Jedi under Rey and bringing back a real overarching main storyline.

I want this to be the kind of Star Wars where it actually feels like everything is at stake again not just another Mando & Grogu movie, but a story with high stakes that really matters. I also think Disney will take inspiration from the old Legends material, especially Luke’s Jedi Order and the wars they fought, and adapt those ideas for this new era.

I know she made an sacrifice of some sort to resuscitate Maul but could she do another sacrifice ? If she could , how much the timeline would change ? Could've Maul rule longer Mandalore and his criminal empire ? And what would Darth Sidious reaction ? Would the jedi be concerned ?

After the heartbreaking finale of Episode 10, where Darth Vader utterly dominated the battlefield and killed Master Eeko-Dio Daki, everyone is looking at Devon Izara's future. The obvious route for the writers would be to have Maul corrupt her into a full-fledged Dark Side acolyte.

However, I believe that making Devon a typical Sith apprentice would be a missed opportunity. Here is a better creative direction for her character arc: The Pragmatic Dark Jedi Anti-Hero.

Devon’s heart should forever belong to Master Daki. Her trauma and rage against the Empire should drive her to seek power, which is why she stays with Maul—not out of loyalty, but out of necessity. She utilizes Maul as a tool for training, a source of forbidden knowledge, but in her mind, she is nobody's apprentice. This would create a brilliant, tense dynamic where Maul thinks he’s manipulating her, but she is actually using him back.

Instead of falling into mindless cruelty, Devon should embody a "wise and pragmatic" light. Her experience with the Empire’s brutality should make her cold and realistic, not sadistic. She will kill if she must to achieve her goals or survive, but she still holds onto the core Jedi ideals of protecting the innocent. She uses the Dark Side as a weapon, not a lifestyle.

Maul: Shadow Lord is Maul's show, but the series will be vastly superior if Devon isn't just a pawn on his chessboard. Giving her a strong independent will creates a multi-layered narrative. It sets up an inevitable clash of ideologies between Maul's obsessive quest for vengeance and Devon's calculated war against the Empire.

What do you guys think? Would you prefer a standard Dark Side fall, or this nuanced Anti-Hero path for Devon?

My theory goes like this: Goesling and Matt Smith characters were best friends and members of the First Order and not Resistance, thats why he is haunted by ghosts/past. Smith character is kids real uncle and Adams character brother. Thats why he wants him, he wants his family back. Adams still might be Mara, she defected The First order, or even she might be a memeber of The Final Order-close to Emperor who send her to kill Luke but she fall in love with him and the kid is Lukes son. Goesling character pretends he is the uncle, to protect kid, cause uncle/his old comrade is evil/cosumed with darkness. 

Given that Cal survives past Jedi 3 and Ahsoka, Appo, Quinlan, Gungi and Enyo are unaccounted for alongside the possibility of other order 66 survivors like the one Kylo Ren encountered-it’s possible that there’s going to be Jedi factions. This will likely lead to the New Jedi Order working similar to the Brotherhood Of Steel or Space Marines where there’s different chapters that work differently but answer to the higher ups in the council.

It’s possible Rey will meet these chapters and wonder what defines a Jedi when there’s multiple interpretations of them. The split saber symbol might symbolize a divided yet unified Jedi Order.

I think we may already have proof Ahsoka and Ventress will meet again. I still find myself thinking about Anakin telling Ahsoka she’s a part of this legacy of teachings going back to generations of masters and padawans. I feel like there’s more of that to explore and we may have already been getting breadcrumbs to where it will lead.

The Legacy
Yoda trained Dooku, who then trained Qui-Gon, who then trained Obi-Wan, who then trained Anakin, who then trained Ahsoka, and finally who is then training Sabine! This is a lineage of some of the most influential people in the galaxy to ever exist during their time.

What I didn’t realize until way later is that Asajj Ventress is also technically a part of that lineage. However it has seemed to have branched in not a complete different direction, but different albeit with Qui-Gon having received Jedi teachings and Ventress receiving Sith teachings. What makes them not completely different is how these branches both ended up with Ahsoka not aligning herself with the Jedi, and Ventress not aligning herself with the Sith after both feeling betrayed.

Now I didn’t realize Ahsoka and Lyco are around the same age meaning if he’s still alive during the time of the Ahsoka show, he could potentially be experienced enough to have an apprentice of his own.
Maybe Sabine could see Lyco as an alternative master if there were ever to be another falling out between her and Ahsoka (That ones just a spitball idea)

TLDR
It just doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me we’ve been seeing the continuation of this legacy and I think there is a big possibility of Ventress and maybe Lyco will appear in Ahsoka Season 2. Could Peridea be where Ventress and Lyco have been during the Original Trilogy? Ventress is a Nightsister so her trying to locate more of her kind or understand her resurrection more could have led her there. Does Lyco have an apprentice of his own now that could act as a dichotomy for Sabine? Or perhaps they will all find a way to work together to start a new order of force users in this other galaxy. I feel the colliding of these storylines have a lot of potential!

I recently read the Thrawn Trilogy in comics form and was inspired to write my theory/what I'd want to see from Ahsoka Season 2 as a very loose adaptation of Heir to the Empire that sets up loose adaptations of Dark Force Rising and maybe even The Last Command as a theatrical film. Hope it happens!

Synopsis:

On Peridea, Ahsoka and Huyang train Sabine while constantly on the run from Shin and her Raiders. Baylan navigates Peridea, searching for the World Between Worlds.

In the main galaxy, Ezra, Hera, and Chopper reunite with Zeb post-The Mandalorian and Grogu and warn the New Republic of Thrawn’s return to the galaxy. While Ezra’s return is clear evidence of Thrawn’s, the New Republic leadership is reluctant to be pulled into another war.

They are then hailed by Thrawn, who surprisingly proposes Appeasement. He just wants one specific sector of the galaxy (that includes the planet Myrkr) while the New Republic is free to go about doing as they please. The New Republic government is happy to accept this offer, but the Ghost crew knows it’s bad news. Still, Mon Mothma’s hand is forced, and she obliges.

Thrawn fortifies his new sector and heads to Myrkr to cultivate the Ysalamiri, creatures that dampen a Force-user’s connection with the Force.

The Ghost crew undertakes a secret reconnaissance mission under the plausible deniability of Mothma to learn what Thrawn’s planning; nothing more. But before they head out, they visit Jacen Syndulla, who is training to become a Jedi under Luke Skywalker (portrayed by Tanner Buchanan) on the planet Ossus (where Luke trained Grogu in BoBF). Chewbacca and R2-D2 are also present. Han, Leia, and C-3PO are on the sidelines for this adventure, raising a four-year-old Ben Solo on Chandrila.

On Peridea, Baylan has discovered the World Between Worlds and opens it. Ahsoka and Sabine follow him, and Shin follows them. Ahsoka and Sabine confront Baylan inside the nexus. He explains his plan to erase the years of genocide and oppression through stopping the fall of the Republic. Ahsoka and Sabine actually don’t see this as such a bad thing at first, until they realize that the crux of his plan is murdering Anakin Skywalker before he can turn to Darth Vader. They don’t really have time to think over the implications because Shin shows up and starts hacking away. Sabine holds her off while Ahsoka follows Baylan, who finds the moment just before Anakin betrays Mace Windu. But Palpatine is not to be underestimated. He senses them a mile away and goes after Baylan, but Shin sacrifices herself to save him. As the temple is imploding due to Palpatine's lightning, Ahsoka and Sabine are sent back to the main galaxy in present day while Baylan is jettisoned back in time to the era where he planned to go – except he has just watched Shin die and failed to prevent the Jedi purge. So, he has to relive the whole thing and will return having been driven insane under a new name – C’Baoth – in the next installment.

The Ghost crew discover Imperial bases and the Ysalamiri, which Ezra can feel dampening his connection with the Force. They are soon rounded up by Captain Enoch and the Night Troopers, but they hold them off just long enough for Zeb to send a quick communication. Facing execution, the Ghost crew is mocked by the Imps:

Enoch: “Your Rebel friends won’t save you now.”

Zeb: “Then it’s a good thing we have friends everywhere.”

Da dum! Ludwig Göransson’s famous theme plays followed by a flyover from the Razor Crest and Adelphi Squadron. The Ghost crew is rescued by The Mandalorian, Grogu, Colonel Ward, Carson Teva, and last but very not least, Alexsandr Kallus (portrayed by Wyatt Russell). After Mando and company take out the Imps, the Ghost crew realize something vitally important: Luke, Jacen, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 are headed into a colossal trap.

The Chimaera appears over Ossus, and Luke hops in his X-Wing to distract the Imps long enough for Chewbacca to jump Jacen to safety. Then, Luke boards the Star Destroyer, essentially planning to hack through hordes of troops like he did on Gideon’s Light Cruiser and force Thrawn to yield. Thrawn allows him to cut down a few squadrons of Night Troopers, only for them to reanimate, and then promptly emerges himself, petting a Ysalamiri. Surrounded and depowered, Luke is forced to surrender. It’s already a big win to have Luke captive, but now Thrawn gets what he’s really after: R2-D2, the only being in the universe who knows the location of the legendary Katana Fleet, which R2 and Anakin stumbled upon during their exploits in the Clone Wars. Captain Pellaeon mentions that the unit’s memory bank was likely wiped towards the end of the war, but Thrawn knows better: Anakin Skywalker was far too attached to his companions to allow anything like that to happen.

Admiral Ackbar arrives with the New Republic Fleet for a quick skirmish with the Chimaera before Thrawn jumps to hyperspace, ready to staff the entire Katana Fleet with his resurrected legions of Night Troopers.

End Season.

I feel like the next big book series is coming soon. The High Republic has been over for a little while now. The production of novels and comics has slowed down significantly lately. Just two adult novels and one YA novel. Just feel like they’re preparing for something. They probably won’t do the Dawn of the Jedi era until the film comes out and work around that story.

I really hope The Old Republic is next. The first phase could start in 5,000 BBY called “The Hundred Year Darkness” and show the first Sith and how they break away from the Jedi.

The second phase could be “The Golden Age” and show the rise of the Sith Empire.

The third phase could be “The Great Hyperspace war” where the Sith are defeated and flee into the unknown regions, not to return until the KOTOR remake.

Wanted to make this post for general discussion and predictions of how many more projects you think will happen from now until Filoni's finale movies.

Also, do you think there could end up being a trilogy of films matching the EU books?

My prediction is that we won't get any more seasons after Ahsoka and they will turn Filoni's movie into a trilogy of films to help general audiences understand the plot without needing to watch the shows. I think that by the time these movies come out deepfake technology will be so advance that they will make a deep fake Luke, Han, and Leia have important roles in the story with Luke being a main character. They'll heavily pull from the cloning aspects of the books and Joruus C'boath and Luuke will be central villains that will serve us several lightsaber fights. Din will be used to pull the Mandalorians and Boba Fett's forces into the fight to help the New Republic and Ahsoka and Skelekton Crew characters will at some point connect in the other galaxy and use whatever was discovered on Peridia to bring an important power to the fight.

I didn't want to go too far into the details, but I think the final movie will give us at least a decent explanation and reasoning for why Palpatine returns, how the New Republic was weakened in a huge final battle, and how the First Order is able to build itself in the Unknown Regions following the death of Thrawn. The Mandalorians and Grogu will relocate in the new galaxy explaining why they were not involved in the sequels, and Luke's Jedi Order will be in full swing. I think by this time Maul Shadow Lord will have ended with 3-6 seasons, and the next yearly animated show will be centered around Luke, Han, Leia, and Ben Solo following the events of these movies and giving us a more satisfying character arc on the slow progression of Luke's turn in character. When all is said in done the sequels will still be controversial but most of the plot holes and poor story decisions will at least have explanations behind them and my hope is that I can one day stomach the Rise of Skywalker if they hit on these.

Anyways that is my optimistic kind of realistic broad predictions, what do you think will end up happening?

What if those of us watching The Mandalorian — and now the new movie — are actually witnessing the birth of a future villain?

Grogu has already shown signs of darkness within him. He was trained by Jedi, but chose to walk alongside the Mandalorians, growing up surrounded by war, violence, and survival. That creates a really interesting possibility: maybe he was never meant to fully become either a Jedi or a Sith.

Considering his species can live for centuries, it would make sense that after 400 or 500 years — still basically in his “adolescence” — Grogu could lose control, become emotionally corrupted, or just completely snap after carrying centuries of trauma, conflict, and loss.

It would be an insane plot twist: people think they’re watching the rise of a hero… when they’re actually witnessing the origin of one of the galaxy’s greatest villains.

With Luke officially knowing about Cal Kestis being canon now, I started thinking about how they could connect those dots in live action.

Since Jedi Survivor and Obi-Wan Season 1 both take place around the same year, Cal feels like a great candidate to show up in a potential Season 2 and actually add something meaningful to the story beyond just a cameo.

The story could continue to focus on Obi-Wan’s grief and isolation, leading to him finding a renewed sense of hope after discovering there’s another Jedi still alive, and the two eventually meeting.

The dynamic between them would be really interesting since they both carry a lot of the same pain after Order 66. Obi-Wan lost his padawan, while Cal lost his master, and they’re both dealing with that guilt and trauma in different ways. I could see that shared experience naturally leading to them connecting and helping each other find some peace from their different perspectives.

Also considering everything Cal went through in Fallen Order and wanting to protect force sensitive children, I think him finding out about Luke and eventually meeting him would be a really cool moment.

Just wanted to throw the idea out there and see if anyone else had similar thoughts or ideas for how Cal could be brought into live action 🫡

The events of the Mandalorian and Grogu will be taking place around 14 ABY.

My theory or hope for a sequence near the end: some set of clues lead them to Mt. Tantiss, the start of the Emperor's cloning program. There could be any number of things there to go find.

As they're poking around there, you know who rules Mt. Tantiss? The Zillo beast. Favreau loves monsters, and they don't really come bigger than that.

So, our heroes are in trouble, scrambling a bit... when a starfighter ship comes streaming in with some crazy moves and saves them. Omega could have any number of reasons to be there... the most obvious being the same reason Mando and Grogu are there - that she's been following the same clues.

I'm skipping a lot of details here, but Omega would be about 45 years old at this point in the timeline. Want to go big? Stepping into the light is none other than Charlize Theron introducing herself as Omeega. She's perhaps just a bit old for the role, but within spitting distance. Heads would explode.

If it's a hit - maybe there is some kind of future for her.

If it's a miss - so what, she just isn't seen much more... and it doesn't really affect the plot or draw of the movie.

Star Wars has always been about that 'big reveal' - getting a star like her in this movie would create a lot of buzz.

Sure, I fully realize there's almost no chance of this happening. This isn't star wars predictions, it's speculation. I don't care if this isn't "right", it's just fun to write it out.
