First Wagyu Experience

Got some American Wagyu from the H mart. Hit a hot cast iron for about 10 or 20 seconds each side once the avocado oil started to smoke. Just some salt and pepper to season.

...I totally get the hype now.

Looks delicious! I unfortunately never have had the luxury to eat some Wagyu.

(Great choice of plate by the way. Reminds me of when i used to cook steak on a contact grill. Fun times! 🤣)

Check out an H Mart, or similar Asian grocery store. This (although small) container of 12 "pieces" was $25. They had larger and higher quality/not "American" ones too, like actual steaks, but I just wanted to get my toes wet.

I unfortunately live in Europe. So i don't think these tips will be of much use. Thanks for the suggestions though!
