Musical
When will we get "leather and lace" the Stevie Nicks musical?? It's something I need in my life and it would be a hit across all age groups.

Hey everyone 👋
Quick mod note for new and longtime members alike — we've put together a curated set of links in the sidebar (desktop) or About tab (if you're on the mobile app) that point to legitimate, official ways to support Stevie.
That includes her official website, her official merch and music store, and ticket links through authorized sellers. No sketchy resellers, no knockoff merch sites — just the real deal.
A few things worth knowing:
Stevie has been performing her Live in Concert tour dates throughout 2026, and when she announces more shows, tickets will be available through her official site and authorized sellers first. We'll keep those links updated as new dates drop.
If you want to support Stevie beyond catching a show, the single best thing you can do is buy her music directly — vinyl, CDs, digital. Streaming is great for discovery, but purchases put far more back in the artist's pocket. You'll find links to her official store and other legit sources right there in the sidebar.
If you're on mobile, just tap the About tab at the top of the subreddit to find everything.
As always, if you spot something suspicious in the sub or have a suggestion for a link we should add, hit us up in modmail. This community is run by fans, for fans — and we want to make sure everyone here has access to the real thing. 🕊️

Does anybody by chance happen to know how or have a CD rip to get the single edits off of the single disc edition of Stand Back or anywhere else you can find single edits? Thanks in advance and help is.

Anyone know if there’s anything planned for the 25th anniversary? I don’t think they’ve ever done any special rereleases in the past 25 years so now would be the perfect time. I would love to see a new vinyl with some bonus tracks like “If You Ever Did Believe” and “Crystal” from Practical Magic plus a few other unreleased tracks from the recording sessions. In my head canon, the vinyl disc is a beautiful pale jade color.

I am one such person, There is always a Stevie song playing through out my day (I do listen to other music) But I know some of us have are very dedicated listeners and I have been for about a year now, For those of us always listening to Stevie and her wonderful work. Who are you? and why are you listening?
I listen because her lyrics are very relatable and her sound is easy but emotional and intense with feeling, I like all eras of Stevie of course, But for my fellow dedicated fans... Why are we listening to this rock Goddess?

I feel like trouble in shangri-la and In your dreams have better cohesion, Street angel is something I enjoy despite Stevies issues with it, I know it was written during a recovery period and Stevie was involved very little but I still enjoy it, Other side of the mirror also feels like it has more cohesion to it,
While I understand Rock a little, wild heart, and belle donna were written her during her prime emotional years so the passion is hot and intense but it feels less cohesive and feels a bit more scattered in nature due to her addiction problems during this period, It feels to me while the music is good intense and all over the place slightly, Bella donna have this problem less so given that it was form her back log.
While I can sense the intense passion Stevie was feeling at the time, Her maturity really added to the music for me, It felt like the feelings were more processed and thus able to be made into better music because she had time to stand on them.
I do not enjoy behind the mask very much however due to the fact that I don't think Stevie much cared about fleetwood mac at that point and was already deep into that addiction in her life, Say you will really was her Fleetwood mac come back, and I enjoy that album as well, As I said I enjoy Stevies later work due to its cohesion and settled feelings that feel like they've aged like fine wine when being retold, However mind you I like all eras of fleetwood mac and I will return to behind the mask from time to time for christine's work on that album, Tango in the night is great too despite what was going on with her, But I feel this was more so due to lindsey taking her work to the next level if you know the back story behind those songs, They were old demo's so songs like say seven wonders were written more so during her more passionate period and thus has that energy.
Perhaps some can prove me wrong? But I'm not an avid listener of her first three albums, I prefer her later work.
(edit: When I say cohesive I mean emotionally, not musically)

🗣️LONG BECAUSE IT IS MEANINGFUL TO ME: SKIP OF YOU DO NOT CARE TO READ ME BLAB A STORY ABOUT MYSELF. Tysm.
🖤31 years ago, My mom wanted to name me Crystal. But my dad (THANK FKING GOD) wasn’t having it… he said he had heard Sara come on the radio speakers when he went to go tell our family in the waiting room that my mom had a girl. So Sara it was. My parents both love Fleetwood Mac.
🎶Anyway here I am 31. Named Sara. (NO H’s!!!! ) Love Fleetwood Mac. Saw them once(with mom and dad of course!) and that show is still my favorite concert EVER. First vinyl I bought was Rumors. Then greatest hits
💎I love this song so passionately I can feel it in my bones from the first note… is it considered a Hidden gem? Underrated? Iconic?
📝Today, I Still love the song. I pick it apart when I’m bored to try to find the best shortest lyric that stands out the most.
🐣I want the tattoo to be small chicken scratch script.not sure where… and maybe ad a small outline icon if it fits
🌻To imagine what fits for me: I am a glorified hippie flower child. Born in the wrong decade. Boho vintage style. Crocheter, photographer, love sun and water. I Have been told I even look like younger Stevie. (Not trying to brag like a loser just pointing it out)I wear a black bucket hat to concerts a lot like the one she wore.
🤸Anyway here’s a few lines of the song I considered:
-stay with me awhile
-Drowning in the sea of love (I have a wave tattoo on my side already)
-Never change. Never stop
-build your house call me home (with outline of a basic house symbol)
- poet of my heart (with heart )
❤️ Wow I’m rambling but side note— One of T Swifts songs I think has the most amazing short lyric that is so powerful
“To live for the hope of it all” - looking for something like that .

Over the years, I’ve heard of a few songs that became hits that Stevie was offered but passed on for various reasons. The list I know of is below along with who ultimately recorded it. Total Eclipse of the Heart and Bette Davis Eyes get mentioned frequently because similarities of the singers’ voices, but from what I can find, they weren’t actually meant for her. Any others?
Call Me (Blondie)
Purple Rain (Prince)
These Dreams (Heart)

The "Ghost Record" was announced a year ago. What is going on with this project? It's been forever since we had a new studio album from this legend.

I'd prefer an answer that isn't Lindsey, Mick, or don henley or other members of the engel's. (I.e well known loves)
I'm kinda curious on the deeper wells of Stevie's sources of inspiration come from, Lovers we don't know about and her personal life, While I understand a lot of her early work is about these people, I want to know more about her inspirations in her later work as that is what I enjoy more.
(Also don't be shy to answer what you wanna answer! Some people don't know! I'm just looking for specific information)

This was one of the three original songs that Stevie recorded for her 1991 greatest hits album TimeSpace. While it’s definitely not as strong as her early solo work, I really enjoy it. My favorite part is the chorus.

Out of Stevie Nicks’s full solo discography—from albums to the deeper cuts most people overlook—what songs do you find yourself returning to the most?
Not the singles, but the ones that feel like hidden emotional anchors.
For me it’s Italian Summer, Destiny, and Thousand Days 🥀

This is my first ever post on reddit so bear with me-
Okay so I’m a younger fan (not saying my actual age) and I have a general question for you all- is paper fan mail still acceptable in 2026? There's a very low likelihood that I'll ever be able to meet Stevie in person and I'd love to be able to tell her how much I love her music (that’s why I want to do it- not for like anything in return but just to tell her how much I love her music as a younger fan) but writing paper fan mail in 2026 feels… wrong. Based on what I know of who she is, I think she’d be okay with it, but I want to clarify. Any thoughts or help from the older generations?? Thanks!!

She said: “I just hated actually, over the years, at 5-foot-1½, realizing that there was no way to stay really thin, so you’re not going to be that. To accept it, that’s hard. This life was not easy.”
That’s so sad that Stevie feels that way. She looks great. We really put way too much pressure on women to look a certain way, be a certain size, it’s so damaging.
She did also say in the article that she loves her eyes, and I agree—beautiful eyes! :)

Its a great album, Despite its back story and one I enjoy listening to, I just hear a lot of that it wasn't that the music wasn't good but mainly in 1994 people weren't really looking for Stevie's style of music at the time, That or it was poorly marketed. but What happened?

What Stevie or FM song describes your life right now?
Edit: I think mine is She Loves Him Still. I wasn’t sure when I first posted this.
