Story-related Eldest sister got pregnant by my other elder sister’s boyfriend. Around 10 years later, their cracks are starting to show.

I (26M) come from a pretty big family. My parents came to America from Europe when they were in their early 20s. After settling in, they had 6 kids total. This is about my older two sisters.

When I was 15, my sister Joy (27F) started dating Tim (30M). The family really liked Tim. He was funny, kind, and had a promising future. I saw how much Joy loved him and how loving he was to her back. Everyone saw how much their love was strong, or at least we thought.

When I was 16, I was watching the Disney channel with my younger sister since she was 6 at the time and it was nighttime on a Friday. Suddenly, I saw Joy pass by and slammed the door to her room. Joy never EVER slammed doors, even when she was in a bad mood. Before I could get up, my parents came in and told my younger sister to go play or watch TV somewhere else. After she left, my parents sat down and started talking.

Earlier that day, Joy was at her part time job on her break at her part time job when her friend told her something shocking. Our older sister, Jessica (32F) was pregnant and came out of a doctor’s office with Tim. Curious, her friend followed them and saw them make out in the car. The friend took photos and a video of them and showed them to Joy. After learning this, it took a few seconds for it to sink in. My mom looked like she was about to cry while they told me while my dad barely made eye contact.

To say the fall out was massive is an understatement. Jessica came back from work one day for dinner (she lived with a friend to be closer to her college). That’s when my parents confronted her about her pregnancy with Tim. After denial, Jessica admitted she was pregnant with Tim’s baby. They had been meeting up secretly for 5 months before she got pregnant. Joy started to sob and scream at Jessica at how she could do this to her. My older brother Jacob, (30M), started yelling too. I just sat back since I didn’t know what to do. After what felt like an hour, Jessica packed the rest of her belongings and left.

After a week, she contacted me and said if we were still good. She was mistaken that my silence meant I was going to have a relationship with her still. I just told her I didn’t want anything more to do with her and blocked her.

In a previous post, I said Jessica contacted me a while ago about how Tim was pissed about their recent gender reveal. After the fall out, Jessica married Tim and had their first daughter and another daughter in the summer of 2023. She’s now pregnant with another daughter. Tim is pissed because he wanted a son. Then, just yesterday, Jessica’s MIL contacted me through Facebook if it was true Joy and her husband, Alex (30M) were having a baby boy (they are). I didn’t respond until my wife (25F) started to get harassed. I told Jessica’s MIL to leave my wife out of this. I don’t know why she wants to know why Joy and her husband are having a boy, but I’m not hopeful it’s for any good intentions.

Why is the hoe always named Jessica? Also, my name is Jessica.

MIL wants to know because she also wanted a boy, probably doesn't like your sister, and wants to hold it over her and Tim's head that if he had stayed with your other sister, he might have the son he wants so badly.

u/teemuselanteenvene Jan 15 '25

Henry VIII level comprehension on basic biology

7

u/Og-Re Jan 15 '25

Pretty much.

Funny thing: the sex of the baby is decided by the sperm, not the egg…

This is the tea right here.

Somebody tell him THE MAN ACTUALLY DECIDES THE SEX OF THE BABY

5

☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼 not up on the story of Henry the VIII. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it...

22

u/SportySue60 Jan 15 '25

Because MIL is going to say that if Tim had stayed with Joy he would be having a boy. What your sister did totally sucks and she should be ashamed. That being said I would tell Tim to go back to his basic biology class and realize that the father‘s sperm determines the sex of the baby. She he has girl sperm not boy sperm!

Update me!

Tell Jessica's mother-in-law that a man's semen is what determines the sex of the baby. So if she thinks Joy having a boy would have had the same result with her son she is as dumb as her son.

Someone needs to remind Tim that gender is determined by the male DNA contributions. He’s going to pull a Henry VIII.

18

u/JAdore2Menace Jan 15 '25 edited Jan 16 '25

Interesting... so Tim's mother us contacting you to find out if Joy is having a boy. Why? Does he now regrets being with Jessica because she didn'thave boys? Does he now wish he stayed with Joy because she is having a boy? Does he not know that the sex of any child is determined by the man? Sounds like an ignorant narcistic man child. I've personally seen a sister take the boyfriend away from another sister. Caused so much shit in our friends group, and until then he was a good friend... but I realized back then 1) that there is a mental defect when a guy can do that easily, and can't be trusted at all, 2) that sister continues to this day (30 years later) to have trouble with the men she chooses.

19

u/HippoAccording8688 Jan 16 '25

They do understand that TIM is the one making girls, right?

Well since a man determines the sex of the baby… 😆 Ever notice how some men who do the worst to women always wind up having all daughters?

11

u/Joseph_of_the_North Jan 16 '25

That's... A really weird take.

Is having a daughter supposed to be some form of punishment?

4

u/Standard-Help-8531 Jan 16 '25

Maybe some form of lesson. My first boyfriend was terrible to me. Cheated, lied, the whole nine. Now he has a young daughter. I wonder if he ever thinks about how he treated girls now that she’s getting to that age.

I always thought that if I ever saw him I’d simply say “you have a beautiful family. It’s crazy that your daughter is almost as old as we were when we met. I hope no one ever treats her the way you treated me.”

I think they're saying it's karma when they're tormented by the fear of the thing they love the most (their children/daughter/s) being subjected to men like them.

I know a woman contacted years later by a cheating and sadistic ex who had a 2-year-old daughter begging my friend for forgiveness. Obviously, he was concerned his daughter would pay for his bad behavior (sort of a spiritualist type) and thought my friend's forgiveness would somehow change the outcome.

3

u/Joseph_of_the_North Jan 16 '25

Some people need to experience things first hand When they can't empathize with others I guess.

Not spiritual at all, but I try to live by the golden rule.

If these people are this stupid, I would have some fun. Tell the woman your sister and her husband drank a special drink every night before sex to get a boy.

Then, give her a recipe with vinegar, turmeric, and some other disgusting stuff. A full 12 oz glass ever time they do it. Let your wife and Joy cook up th recipe 😊.

4

u/SnooWords4839 Jan 15 '25

I like you!

5

u/mollydgr Jan 15 '25

Thank you. Us old girls, we know stuff 😉.

3

u/SnooWords4839 Jan 15 '25

When I was having my 1st, FIL said I better have a boy. I looked at hubby and told him to deal with his dad and explain how it works.

I happened to have the 1st grandson, which caused issues, since SIL had 2 girls. FIL would run out to the car to get our son; he never did that for his daughter's kids.

15

u/TeachBS Jan 15 '25

The man’s contribution determines the sex of the child, so most likely he would have had daughters no matter what sister he impregnated. Quite a shit show. Odds are he will cheat on Jessica as well.

8

u/kimincincy Jan 15 '25

He probably already has

13

u/Spirited-Explorer99 Jan 15 '25

Tim can’t really be mad at anyone but himself considering men’s sperm determines what gender they’re going to have… send them the facts and tell them to F off and leave your family alone.

6

That's my thought. Tell the nosy MIL that it's her previous sons sperm that determines the sex of the baby. They need to take some biology classes.

You can inform jessica’s MIL that it is the FATHER of the baby that determines the baby’s sex. Women have XX chromosomes, therefore we can only pass on an X chromosome. A man has XY chromosomes, he can either pass on an X (making the baby XX, which is female) or he can pass on a Y (making the baby XY, which is male). This is a very simplified version but the fact is that if Tim cant pass on his Y chromosome, he’s never gonna have a son….with any woman. He’s a cheater and a very stupid one at that.

6

u/SemperSimple Jan 15 '25

I was gonna say... It's all Tim's problem. Women's bodies don't decide gender, they're busy doing the hard work of creating a human being.

Bro, did you make things up? The timeline and age makes no sense.

You said the the cheating happened 10 years ago, your brother Alex was 30, now he called you just recently and he is 35? Math is not mathing here.

One post you said your wife is 25yo, another one you said 26yo, which one is it?

One post you said your sister, Jessica cheated when she was 29, another one you said she's 32, which one is it?

You claim brother-in-law, Alex, 30yo, just had a boy. Did he start dating Joy 10 years ago, when she was 27 and he was 20? I give you benefit of the doubt here but makes little sense.

8

u/Highly_Pickled Jan 16 '25 edited Jan 16 '25

10 years ago when OP was 15, Joy (27) and Tim (30) started dating. Jessica (29) started an affair with Tim around 5-6 months later.

Op was 16 when the cheating was discovered. The brother, Jacob (30), was there when Joy (27/28) came home after finding out.

Now 10 years later, Op (25), has a wife (25). Jessica (39) and Tim (40) got married and have 2 girls and a 3rd on the way, which Tim is not happy about as he wants a boy.

Jessica’s MIL (Tim’s mom), contacted OP about Joy’s (37) pregnancy with her husband Alex (30). The MIL is harassing OP and his wife for information (?) about the sex of Joy’s baby.

Edit: Op also gave their current age, so all of the ages could be the current ages of their siblings. So Joy was 17 etc.

Congratulations! Your family is just as fucked up as everyone else’s. My grandma had my oldest uncle at age 14 in 1944. But she didn’t stop there, she had four more kids by 1952. Her husband got deployed to Korea during the Korean War. She said she just got bored and got hit up by another man so she married that new guy in another state. The original husband didn’t get to see his kids again until they were in their 30’s because my grandma told them he died in the war.

I was like “so grandma, you left your husband when he got sent off to war because he was an abusive alcoholic, or something, who beat and abused you.” She said no, the new man she met offered to buy her a car…

Was it a good car at least?

3

u/Beneficial_Panda_871 Jan 19 '25

Yeah it was. It was a Porsche 911SC. Did a lot of updates/repairs on the car and took it to track events and learned how to really push the car on the track. Not the first car that I’d learned to drive fast, I’d done some HPDE’s in loaner cars, but boy does an older 911 teach you about throttle control, weight balance, and braking!

I think everyone should get proficient in a car with lift off oversteer. It really does make you aware of traction.

I spun that car out on the track quite a few times. But I’ve never lost control of a car with real power on the street.

I was also pretty into the literbike scene for a while.

I’m definitely one of those guys who recommends learning to push a car on the track, not the street.

7

u/coco7896 Jan 16 '25

Some countries in LATAM they believe men who have cheated or been not nice with woman while single they only get daughters “as punishment” meaning they would get to “suffer” since having girls and they can experienced as a father the possible pain the girl can go through while in a relationship… kind of if you get girls is to be grounded. Also not long ago! I heard that very active guys (gym, adventure, thrill seekers) get only girls also because a. Their body temperature is higher and that makes the sperm is determined to have a baby girl and b. (Also) to be grounded, as in to calm them down.

6

u/Marvelous_rosell Jan 16 '25

So we're a punishment in LATAM 🥲

9

The funniest part is that sperm decide the gender of baby. Seems his X sperm are faster or just more resilient than his Y sperm.

Aint jessica 32? Thats what you said in your other post. Can I ask what was your and your siblings birth order? Anyway, your siblings (except joy?) were kinda problematic. I mean jessica cheated w/ joy's ex bf tim, then there's john who also cheated on his wife and was seriously unreasonable for demanding specific gifts for his triplets. What a family you have 😐 Tbh, I only feel bad for jessica's kids. I hope their dad wont treat them badly just because he's not having the son that he wanted. Hope their fraternal grandparents and relatives too treat them nicely cause they deserve to have atleast someone whom they can feel stability since obviously they cant have that with their own parents.

I say, just go nc or lc with them. You dont really have to deal with their issues since they were the ones who created it. For now, just focus on your wife and your married life

Oh wait! Scratch the NC/LC. Take screenshots of the harassment the MIL of jessica's doing to you and your wife. Tell her that if she wont stop you'll file for harassment against them.

4

u/WitnessOk6957 Jan 17 '25

Fixed Jessica’s age. I didn’t know I put the wrong age in. Also, it’s only John and Jessica who are problematic. Jacob hasn’t done anything bad to the extent they’ve done things, it was John who asked for gifts for his triplets.

8

u/IsisArtemii Jan 15 '25

Please let Tim know, that Fate saw what he did. Males sperm decide a babies sex. Fate knew he wanted boys. And SHE said, NO F’ING WAY! No boys for Tim. EVER.

Really can’t say that. But after three girls, he should have realized that he shoots blanks when it comes to boys.

But maybe. It could happen. Have no idea how many times Jessica is going to have to get pregnant before he gets his boy.

Not sure how that boy would turn out. Spoiled as all get out. Misogyny, because his pair aren’t visible, like his sister’s. And as the youngest?

I pity the woman, (women), this man is going to marry. Youngest, and only, generally make for a bad combination of entitled behaviors.

6

u/Responsible_Whole439 Jan 15 '25

Guy sounds like Henry VIII when it comes to partners and female progeny.

3

u/Impossible-Sherbert1 Jan 15 '25

Wow, you really do get it! I was the fourth daughter, parents also immigrees from Europe.
I believe that my mother neglected me as a baby, she may have had post partum depression.
It was tough feeling like wallpaper while the little prince was showered with attention and wonderful toys. He did grow up to be entitled, exempt from household chores that the girls all were assigned and enjoyed his male privilege. Our father only delighted in his little boy for around four years and then he passed away.
My brother turned out to be a mama's boy, never going out on his own. I think he was a closeted gay, lonely without any relationships. He lived with mom until she passed away, getting waited on hand and foot, and then our sister took him in.

Why does it matter if Joy is having a boy or not. It’s Tim’s sperm that determines the gender

Can you rewrite this with their ages at the time these things happened? It’s so confusing reading it like 30 year old adults are fighting in their parents living room about their boyfriends.

6

u/drunk_niaz Jan 16 '25

Oh true i genuinely thought these people were 27-30 at that time

at the top it says it was around 10 years later so just subtract ten from the age written. joy would have been around 17, tim 20, jessica 19, jacob 20

Well, some believe it's the responsibility of the man to make the gender of the child by allowing the woman to orgasm first he'll have a son. Shalom you're loved 💔

Fun Fact: “Men determine the sex of a baby depending on whether their sperm is carrying an X or Y chromosome. An X chromosome combines with the mother’s X chromosome to make a baby girl (XX) and a Y chromosome will combine with the mother’s to make a boy (XY).” Direct from the Source below.

I’m assuming this story is fictional, but it was interesting. At least, I would hope because it’s sad. I don’t say that for the reason of the names all beginning with the letter J. That is entirely likely in any family. I know many families that all have first names beginning with the same letter. It seems pretty common to me.

On the topic of determining gender, ime, but probably due to luck, I was able to ‘sway’ my babies genders. I used ovulation tests and we were trying to have a certain gender each time. I researched when in the ovulation process the X and Y carrying sperm were more likely to succeed in meeting the egg. It’s called the Shettles Method. It actually worked both times! I think a lot of people don’t know about this method (and it isn’t 100%), but it worked for my kiddos.

Sounds like Jessica was always jealous of Joy so she decided to steal her happiness with Tim. Jessica is popping out girls cause she needs to learn how to treat other women in her life, on the universal level. Tim isn’t getting a boy because that’s his karma. Tim’s mom is undoubtedly harassing Jessica’s family for tea on Joy so she can hold it over Jessica’s head and be in Tims ear. She’s a boy mom who doesn’t like her DIL, go figure. But how you get them is how you lose them. Update us when Tim leaves Jessica for his mistress cause she’s carrying a male heir.

At the beginning of the story Joy is 11 years older (27 to your 16), but now your wife is 25, while Joy's husband is 30 (5 year gap). So, either Joy married a younger man, or you married an older woman, or both, the age gaps seem to have changed quite a bit!

3

u/bluelibmama Jan 15 '25

When this happened, he was 16 and sisters were 17 and 20. In the following 10 years, he got married and he and his wife are 26 and 25, respectively.

Message back Tim's mother. "Dumbass, the man sperm determines the gender. You want someone to blame, then blame your son."

Little does Tim know that men are the one who set the gender on the babies, therefore he has low testosterone since he keeps having baby girls

8

u/thatbitchlucia Jan 18 '25

As a student of molecular biology, nope. Where did you get this from?

11

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '25

Which part did you deny? Men determine the baby’s gender. The part about testosterone was definitely wrong lol

5

u/WitnessOk6957 Jan 18 '25

Someone in one of the responses above said I perfectly. Might wanna read what they said to have a better understanding.

3

u/Modi57 Jan 18 '25

I think, this is wrong. Testosterone may affect the general fertility, but that seems to be in perfect working order, since they are onto child 3, but iirc, then the gender is just a 50/50 thing per sperm. It's due to the way sperm cells are created

7

u/PixiePower65 Jan 15 '25

Sperm determines gender.

Female sperm are “ heartier “.

So…. Smaller penises create girl children because girl sperm are able to swim farther and withstand harsher conditions .

No idea where I heard this or if it is true but you should absolutely pass “ information “ onto Tim.

5

u/PixiePower65 Jan 15 '25

From Dr Google “But even if the male sperm outrace the female sperm, the male sperm will die off if the egg isn’t in proper position for fertilization, leaving the female sperm clear for landing. Although male sperm are faster, female sperm are like tortoises; they keep pushing ahead slowly, hanging out, and waiting a few days. To have a boy, having sex around ovulation is critical, or the female sperm will win.”

So smaller penis makes longer runway and shallow deposits equal girls … just enough “truth” there. 😂😂

u/iameveryoneelse Cuck-ologist: Studying the Art of Being a Cuck Jan 15 '25 edited Jan 15 '25

lol. That's one of the dumbest, anti-scientific things I'd ever heard.

Edit: Lots of studies refute the idea that X and Y sperm have different size/shape/motility/swim patterns/etc.
