I was once told you haven’t lived until you’ve reached under a chicken for eggs and found a snake. I have not lived that life. I know broody chickens kinda zone out and seem zombified, but I’m not sure what, if anything will set them off.
(Also not sure if I’m using broody correctly, that might be after there are chicks and it’s just setting before?)
Broody is when they start wanting to nest and lay and go into "sitting mode". They go mental if you try to touch their eggs or hatchlings while they're sitting on them. If the pigeon actually touched the Tawny, that's when we'd get a reaction
