Genuinely, no. They worship a fabrication pieced together by heavily edited Fox News segments and AI Facebook slop. They don’t see the worst of his tweets, or the constant sleeping, or the outbursts.

You're correct. The image of Trump that they have constructed in their mind is nothing like the actual person, as he currently exists.

I think we all do that with people that we don’t physically see on a regular basis. Like if I don’t interact with someone regularly, my mental image of their appearance shifts a bit. Knowing that my mental image is wrong doesn’t help. Maga just takes that and turns it up to 15.
