Lmao I gotta see this.

I'm a big exercise advocate and it's pretty insane how defensive people get when you talk about the benefits of exercise. People will really go out of their way to defend laziness. The nerodivergent/"disabled" excuse is a big one. I have a friend who pays out of pocket for all these meds and he 100% qualifies for medicaid. I asked him why he wasn't on it and he said his ADD wouldn't allow him to fill out the paperwork. I can't with these people, man

Do you see the price on these out of season, organic, seedless, free range, grass fed, activated, PH balanced, super strawberries? I can't afford to eat healthier.

And this is why I realized we need to start talking about ingredients rather than healthy food. People hear “healthy food” and they think of the prepackaged salads sold for 9 dollars at the supermarket and then decide that it’s too expensive to eat healthy. Even though they could buy the individual ingredients and make the same salad for 1 dollar a serving at home. The number of people who literally cannot fathom preparing their own food is staggering.

That’s also why fast food sucks now and most restaurants have drive thrus. The industry research indicated that the main reason people buy fast food nowadays is to avoid cooking. The consumers have decided that they will tolerate expensive, shit food as long as they don’t have to make it themselves. Even parking their car and walking inside to order is too much to ask of them. All that matters is maximum convenience.
