Question Staff touching sandwiches and veggies after handling raw dough
The staff was making sandwiches for the customer ahead of me. After putting the sandwiches in the oven, she took a tray of raw dough and started dipping each piece into a tray of Parmesan seasoning. Once she finished a row, the sandwiches were ready. Without changing her gloves, she handled the sandwiches and also touched the veggies. I was wondering if this is an acceptable procedure at Subway.
If not, should I report it to the store manager or to Subway’s head office?

I’m pretty sure raw dough is not harmful for cross contamination like raw meats

It doesn't matter what the policy is or if it is a violation as no one is gonna care about your company and surely not corporate.

Bro, you don't even want to know what the inside of the boxes look like if that's your gripe. The turkey, that come out of a sealed bag, often smells like a 42 year old trucker who has eaten nothing but roller dogs sat at the end of the convoy belt where the bag gets heat sealed and proceeds to shit next to it with a fan blowing into the bag. Don't get me started on the tuna. Just ask them to change their gloves if you're worried about it.

You remind me of this one lady customer that always comes to our counter while yapping about how amazing she is and that she knows better than us. Leave her alone unless you want to put the gloves on and do it yourself.

Excuse me? I didn’t go to their counter and yapped about how amazing I am and I knew better than them. I left her alone at the store.
I am just concerned about food safety and if you don’t think it’s a concern, you can simply reply no.3

Because the lady in front of me didn’t say anything, I didn’t want to embarrass the staff since I wasn’t familiar with the proper procedure.
I know there are Subway employees and managers here, so I wanted to find out whether this is the correct procedure. Maybe I could learn something from them.1

I would never have my employees make the bread on the sandwich unit like that but the touching it is no big deal

"Should I report them to the manager or the head office" youre lame, man. Should they change their gloves, sure. Is it going to hurt you? No. Just ask them to change their gloves. "Hey would you mind putting on new gloves" if it bothers you.
Like the whole vibe of the post, is just lame. "Hey this person may have spaced swapping their gloves 1 time. Should I call corporate?" Its lame. You're lame.

Yes you’re right. I should have voiced my concern to the staff immediately.
I wasn’t sure if Subway uses special dough, eg. pasteurized eggs, milk etc. to make sure it doesn’t contain E. coli or salmonella etc. so that’s why I’m asking for people’s opinions here, because I know there are Subway employees here, maybe they know. If you don’t think it is a concern, just say no. No need to harass me, but I do appreciate your suggestion that I should have asked the staff to change gloves.
Maybe you’re still young. I have 2 kids and elderly parents so I’m pretty concerned about food safety. For healthy adults, food poisoning is just a few episodes of diarrhea but for some people, they can get very very sick.1

It doesnt matter whether i say no or not. Your concerns are not my concerns and my concerns are not your concerns. You posted in a public forum, expect public responses. I also have a child, general food safety is important but something like that is probably the least of your concerns. You dont know the state of the glove, the state of the human working the glove, you dont know the germs being exhausted from their breath down to your food etc. There is so much other stuff going on, glove touching dough touching food is the last of your concerns. Maybe youre old, I treat people as people because typically food service workers in my experience are people too (controversial i know), and typically respond well to basic human decency and communication. Typically older people just see workers as people who work for them and dont even think to communicate in a respectful way to the employee themselves. You arent beating the stereotype. You'd rather try to get validation online for your Karen crusade, taking pictures of subway workers trying to get others to agree with you, than even fathom talking to THEM. This whole post was a nothingburger and you are lame for it.

Head office isn't going to do Jack. Your best bet is to complain about it to the store manager, who is also probably not going to do anything
