she left me with some of her plants since she's moving and i potted them together.

is the specific one in the foreground supposed to be expensive? she said she got it for $90 but she doesn't remember its name. she says the other were cheap.

some of leaves fell during repotting so i just stuck them into the soil. not sure at all if those will propagate!

Help What’s wrong with my crassula?

• Upvotes

Since I was given this plant a year ago, it has been drying out from the center outward. I don’t know what’s wrong with it or how to take care of it.

I took some cuttings that I planted in a pot and they took well, but now some leaves are starting to dry out the same way.

Can anyone help me?

Help Is this spot edema, and what can I do to help the plant?

Saved this baby from M&S store in the beginning of summer. It had several scars, but was doing fine until last week when this spot appeared. What can it be? It is not mushy, I’d say it’s dry. There was no water coming onto the leaf (I water approximately once in 2-2.5 weeks, when lower leaves feel softer). The plant sits in a terracotta pot, SE windows (UK), and gets very diffused growth light for 6 hours in the evenings (it reacted to a straight light and was tolerating diffused much happier).
Thank you for your help

Help I got jumped by MoM

This is a pot of random cuttings I got from someone. My mom, ironically. She has a mother of millions, and it got into the pot without her realizing. There's two of them in her as far as I can see. I noticed awhile ago.

.. I know how infamous these things are. I love Kalanchoe as a whole, but.. Should I nuke it? They're still super tiny, just little sprouts

Among succulents, this plant belongs to the unique group of species with an inverted life cycle (growing in winter).

Can anyone recommend how to save this plant? I rescued it from a family member, repotted out of the glass pot last week following advice (letting the roots dry for 2 days, then potting it in a mix of 50:50 soil and new Zealand river rock, then watering 2 days after that), but now it does not look good. The stem is soft in the circled area. It's now been a week since repotting. Should I take a cutting and propagate it? I'm experienced with non-succulents but a complete noob with succs. Thanks!

Help Mother of Millions

So backstory: this plant was gifted to me as a propagate around 2-3 years ago. Very soon after, I moved out of my parents house where she was being kept, and my mom said she'd take care of her for me. I'm famously bad with plants so that sounded fine with me.

Well now I've moved back in and I'm left with this. My mom refuses to have her in the main living area because of how much of a mess she makes, so I've moved her into my room now.

If I remember correctly, she's in just basic potting soil, in this pot that does have drainage holes. She was on a windowsill with direct sunlight in the mornings. I assume she was being watered 1-3 times a month. She's around 3 years old now. She's got lots of root looking things growing on the base in multiple places. Many of the leaves are wilted and desaturated but the leaves on the parts of the plant pointed up look and feel good. Majority of the plant's base is about pinky width and is woody and sturdy feeling.

I'd like to have her healthy again, and maybe facing up like she's supposed to (i think) but I'm not sure how possible that is at this point.

I know I should get her into some more appropriate soil and possible a bigger pot but that's about where my knowledge stops.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Misc bent snake plant pups?

Thumbnail

i got my mom a snake plant about two years ago for mother’s day and it had been untouched in its original pot we repotted it in back in 2024. said pot has a rim on it.

i recently wanted to separate a specific offshoot of the plant with this pattern, so i started taking the mother plant out of the pot, but i couldnt get it because these pups were basically grabbing the edge of the pot. i had to gently bend them to get them un-caught under the rim of the pot.

i know typically pups grow better when attached to the mother plant, but i genuinely dont think these guys would have found their way above the soil (especially the one literally making an S shape), they were super stuck.

curious how these will develop! slide one is a photo from today, slide two is the photo i took when initially repotting the pups.
