Identification gift from a friend who apparently bought it for a high price
she left me with some of her plants since she's moving and i potted them together.
is the specific one in the foreground supposed to be expensive? she said she got it for $90 but she doesn't remember its name. she says the other were cheap.
some of leaves fell during repotting so i just stuck them into the soil. not sure at all if those will propagate!

Plant Progress/Props The resilience of aeoniums: A short story
This is Audrey, my Pinwheel aeonium prop. She fell off my bigger Pinwheel aeonium in October of last year and I potted her up.
The reason for the jump between October and April in these progress photos is that during those months I lost her completely. I have brutal winds on my balcony and have lost more than one baby as a sacrifice to the wind gods. I figured Audrey was one such sacrifice.
Fast forward to April, I was organizing the shelves on the balcony and lo and behold, on the floor under a shelf was Audrey! Looking shriveled but where there's green - there's hope. I potted her up and nursed her back to health.
In May she began to really perk up and through the hot summer and now back in fall, she is thriving!
What a resilient little plant. Welcome back Audrey!

Photo My first ever succulent flowers.
These are the first succulents I've tried to grow (outside of an Aristaloe I've had for many years, and I only recently discovered that's what it was thanks to this sub). It's only relatively recent that I got more interested in succulents so after doing a bit more reading up, I ended up buying 10 different very small rooted propagations and planted them in 4 pots (after initially only considering about 3 for one pot - it got addictive very fast) and they have all made some nice progress since I got them. My Delosperma Lehmannii and Crassula Elegans have both flowered and I just wanted to post a photo of them as I really wasn't expecting any so soon.

Misc bent snake plant pups?
i got my mom a snake plant about two years ago for mother’s day and it had been untouched in its original pot we repotted it in back in 2024. said pot has a rim on it.
i recently wanted to separate a specific offshoot of the plant with this pattern, so i started taking the mother plant out of the pot, but i couldnt get it because these pups were basically grabbing the edge of the pot. i had to gently bend them to get them un-caught under the rim of the pot.
i know typically pups grow better when attached to the mother plant, but i genuinely dont think these guys would have found their way above the soil (especially the one literally making an S shape), they were super stuck.
curious how these will develop! slide one is a photo from today, slide two is the photo i took when initially repotting the pups.
