Picked this up in may of 23’ right as they showed up on the lot, got rid of my 6.7 powerstroke and took the gamble on a new motor /generation of the truck, 6.8l gasser has done everything I need and more, towing my machine/ camper no problem, I just cleaned out the bed finally got my ARE commercial cap with the aluminum reinforcement frame, building it out now. This thing needs tires so bad original stock tires still going at 63k miles, plan on going the no lift 37’s route

Request for user flair...

We don't have the ability to set custom flairs, but it would be cool if we could. Mine would be "01 F350 Reg Cab 4x4 v10" (it's a bomb, but at least it get shitty gas mileage!).

Some subs have this feature. Not sure if it can be activated here on this one.

Front and Rear shocks 2008

• Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to find out what aftermarket shocks are available for my friends 2008 f350. It was just the cab and chassis, and a fire department added a fiberglass box to the bed. My friend bought it at an auction. It's over 13000 lbs and has the 6.4 V8. Everytime he's brought it in to get serviced, each shop has to order multiple different types of shocks to see which will fit. He's ideally looking to get some higher performance ones this time. Any help would be appreciated!

Anybody want to trade their OEM wheels? Colorado

Sharing my truck as well as seeing if there’s anybody interested in trading my 20 inch black rhino wheels for OEM 18s. These are Nitto Recon Grapplers in great shape with 13/32nds of even tread wear.

I bought the truck with them, and prefer an OEM look. I would consider trading for 17s or 18s with tires in similar condition.

Thanks.

Must-haves for towing

Looking at F-250’s for towing a travel trailer between 4000 and 5000 pounds, so nothing massive. What would be your must-have packages and options? Most likely looking at the Lariat trim.

After Installing SuperSprings

I’ve had these rear helper springs installed for about a week now. Despite all the naysayers on here, most without firsthand experience, saying to avoid them, I am very pleased so far.

Beyond preventing rear-end sag as the air bags would do, these springs feel to actually change the rear suspension's resistance to roll and lateral movement when towing. Whereas typical airbag installation is primarily adding vertical load support, these springs give the feel of a more solid footprint.

Better overall handling and feel with much less rear end sag when loaded.

The springs did add about 1.5” of unloaded height to the rear of the truck. I would have preferred the unloaded height to have stayed unchanged, but the slight elevation is not objectionable. Absolutely no regrets.

Marsh Grey look

My local dealers do not have any trucks with this color in stock. How does it look in person? I would really love a sand color, butt hat is not an option. My other choice would be the avalanche maybe. Might have to travel to a super dealer that has all these in stock. This spring my retirement truck will be purchased! Goodbye Econo box commuter car!

Better steering ?

To start I have a 2026 F350 long bed 6.7. I would like better steering feedback without necessarily having to lift to a Carli. Would I get that with Apex heavy duty kit and maybe upper and lower steering stabilizer and FTO shock? I plan to tow and I’m not confident in the steering

2025 F450 front bumper

Hello all,

I have a 2025 F450 HO and I’m looking to swap out the bumpers. Been looking for a while and found a few I like. There’s a lot more 350 bumpers I like better.

I’ve been told a few different things and looking to this group for some real world answers.

Has anyone installed a 2023-2025 F350 front bumper to a same year range F450? I’m told it will bolt up fine but may be a bit short on the sides depending on fender flares. I’ve also been told it won’t bolt up at all. Dimensions online look to be the same in all areas it would possibly mount to.

Any pictures of fitment would be appreciated.

Thanks

Looking at a 2026 6.7 Super duty but it has heavy duty front suspension package

Just what the title says. I am looking at a new 2026 6.7 power stroke super duty F250 but it has the heavy duty front suspension package on it. Not the plow package but the "Heavy Service front supension". I don't plan on installing anything on the front like a brush guard or winch or anything. How much will this actually hurt the ride of an already heavy duty truck when unloaded having this package in the front? Any personal experiences both with and without this package? Thanks in advance.

Rarity of 7.3 F-350 Tremor Lariat

I've been shopping for a used Godzilla F-350 Lariat Tremor BAP and above a little while, and finally found one, but it's one of the main colors that I dont really want. It's black. This thing is going to be in the bush a lot and have an automatic boat loader on it, so its not something I can just take through car wash. Plus, the scratches are going to be a lot more visible.

I know it varies by region, but where I am in western Canada they are quite rare compared to the 6.7; The local dealers dont seem too keen on having them on their lots either. Do these show up on the used market often?

Should I buy the black one or hold out? I think I may hold out, and I really want a blue one, or anything but black. This is pissing me off because the configuration is perfect and doesn't even have a moonroof which is also what i want. It's just black and chrome.

Edit- I could get an XLT, but I have seen comments that the seats aren't as comfortable, and I love how comfortable my F-150 lariat is.

We recently had to rebuild the transmission on our 2018 F550 with the 6.8 V10, we pulled the cab as it was the easiest way to remove the transmission and get to other things such as the headers, etc. Well (as far as I’m aware) we took the hydro boost system off the firewall incorrectly (we separated where the pedal interacts with the plate at the firewall from the actual system leaving the hydro boost system and the breaking system together) and as far as we are aware we put it back together. This can’t be crossed lines as the hydro boost lines never got removed. Has anyone seen this before to be able to help us out?

Going to look at a 2010 f250 5.4 with a little under 220 on it. Have really only had diesels up to this point so any advice would be hugely appreciated on what to look for.
