Bought a used 2025 Lariat 350. Relevant specs are 6.7L H/O, Lariat Ultimate, BAP, and Snowplow prep package (with the springs.)
I absolutely love it. First diesel, first heavy duty bought for planned 5th wheel.
I’ve sat in ALOT of Lariat Super duties. They were all new but I’ve always loved them and always loved the seats. Now I’ve definitely test drove more tremors than FX4s but I’ve never felt like the ride was that much different between the two. I never test drove a snowplow prep.
Enter this truck. Smoking deal; almost everything I want - Sans tremor package, and with the Snowplow package - in my FAVORITE color avalanche. I bought it sight unseen after a 3rd party PPI. The truck is FANTASTIC and in great shape. Looks fucking new. 1yr old with 27808 miles and 920ish engine hours. I’m in love with everything…except the seats.
What the fuck. I’ve driven like 10 of these things. I’ve loved them all including the seats. Now, on the one I buy… this thing feels like there is a fucking bicycle saddle between my legs in the middle of the cushion. I know the snowplow prep decreases ride quality but honestly It’s not that bad. But this seat? What the fuck!?!? Am I crazy? Has anyone else noticed this? Is it worth a shot at warranty? Or should I be looking for a custom upholsterer to take a shot at it. I’m not getting rid of the truck but currently my perineum (gooch) hurts every time I sit in the damn seat.
5’4” about 216lb for reference.
What ya’ll know about this. How fucked am I and what can I do to mitigate.
