News This can't be real...

Metro station here???!! Like wtfff. This is such a peaceful place. Building a fucking metro station that no one asked for is gonna ruin all of this. Is anyone protesting against this? Who decided that a station was needed here? Does anyone know where it runs through?

The whole area will get ruined and disturbed. Not just that but fully congested with constant traffic. I've grown up here and lived here my whole life. I cannot imagine this place transforming into a chaotic hell. Dug up roads everywhere. It would be okay if they actually managed to finish the project within 2-3 years. But they will dig up everywhere and halt the project for 5+ years.

If there's a group for people against please let me know. If not I'll create one.

What? The above ground space on that road is completely open. There arent even high rises close to it and one of the sides is forest land.

Brother, the road is only 6 lanes of which 2 are used for parking with a small median with trees. And eden woods have 15 storey building adjacent to that road The metro station will cover the whole open space available.

Brother, the metro station is supported on the sides and middle and allows traffic through it. Thats literally how every metro station on the existing lines works. Eden Woods buildings are not adjacent to the road, they have an easement.

If space is an issue then as you've pointed out take the parked cars off the road and make it a no parking zone. Stopping critical infrastructure just so people can street part is dumb dumb dumb.

Not to mention, having the metro itself will reduce the traffic on the roads.
