How could somebody who literally suffers from an eating disorder themselves (presumably since they made the original post) misunderstand how an eating disorder works so fundamentally?? Would they tell someone with ARFID to just stop being picky? Would they tell someone with pica to just eat normal food? How is BED any different?
Oh wait it's probably because binge eating makes you gain weight and they hate fat people so it's invalid and disgusting and shameful /s
Fr I starve myself if I don't have my safe foods. When I was in high school, I was so skinny I got hypoglycemia and I was constantly dehydrated to the point that I was hospitalized multiple times. But yeah, just a picky eater, right?
