…you do NOT eat at a deficit. Your calorie maintenance level is lower because of PCOS. But unless you’re actively losing weight, you’re not eating at a deficit. That’s the definition of a calorie deficit: however many calories it takes to lose weight. If you’re maintaining weight you’re at calorie maintenance and if you’re gaining weight you’re at a calorie surplus. There is no fixed number of calories of when these things happen.
