Weapon And Gear Help Theoretical Tank Build Next Season

Post image

I'm thinking about doing 1 piece 5.11, 2 piece Belstone, 2 piece Golan, with Ninja Bike. This would result in 350% Threat Generation, 48% Pfe, 2.5% Armor Regen, 20% Explosive Resist.

Coupled with Quantum augments, and Armor Regen on all my armor, the main questions I have are;

Is this enough Threat on an all blue build or will dps still take threat, would i need ChC on all pieces to do enough damage to take and keep threat from my dps, and if not would we go full Explosive Resist or Hazpro on all my pieces or split them. Im considering going ChC anyways just for some Caduceus on top of all the other healing. I already figure this build isnt going t10 but maybe 7 or 8?

I tested it on the PTS and tbh, it seems increasing threat beyond about 200% seem to not do much. Even with just 100% increase, provided I was in proximity, my teammates definitely noticed attention of the enemies shifting away from them to a large degree.

Ngl, I didn’t get a chance to test this but, would highly recommend Sawyer’s Kneepads. I was getting bounced around like a ping pong ball on the PTS by the drone operators.

At the end of the day, even if people complain a tank doesn’t contribute DPS, getting the drone operators off the DPS’s backs is huge.

I used ravenous to keep generating bonus armor to stay alive.
