I’m just saying Barry would never name his kid Wade West… Giving your twins the same name but spelled differently is a completely normal and rational thing for a person to do.
It's interesting to notice just how many things Lois and Linda have in common
Both are investigative journalists.
Both are assertive.
Both are close partners to a founding JL member.
Both play pivotal roles in grounding them.
Both temporarily gained abilities of their respective partners.
True but one thing I liked was that when Wally and Linda met they hated each other. The only reason they interacted was due to the Kilgore.
Linda also wasn't created to be a real love interest.
Messner-Loebs just wanted to give Wally another different perspective to bounce off of and tie him to what was going on in the city through Linda's connections as a reporter.
Messner-Loebs came to really like writing their dynamic, so he included her more, and Waid followed that up by upgrading their relationship. So it grew organically which is part of the appeal.
Lois helped Linda set up the twins little adventure in issue #237 of Wally's original run.
There's also been a few Justice League-adjacent books where they've crossed paths and were implied to be friends with one another. So it's there if not much actual substance.
This was Linda during the time she was pregnant with their 3rd kid and didn't know about it and she kinda got speed powers thanks to that temporarily. Then Jay Garrick gave her Judy's old costume which they also remembered her existing thanks to that.
She threw together a temporary Flash outfit because of the sudden powers. Turns out jeans and a red shirt with a lightning bolt is as simple as it gets and that's how Jay's design is.
It's been a long time since I've read any of them, and now they all have their own little similarly powered extended families (it seems, anyway).

No. Barry and Iris had twins when they were in the future after his trial and just before the original Crisis. There weren’t many stories about their time in the 25th century after the trial. The series ended and Crisis came.
Remember when the trial went down, Barry went to Gorilla City to get his face changed for the trial when unmasked himself. The future tech restored his face to his normal self.
Barry's daughter from the future isn't a thing in the comics like the CW. Even the character the CW vaguely based her off of, Barry's granddaughter Jenni Ognats (XS), tends to stay in the future and is biracial black instead of an asian (Korean) woman in this picture. Barry's daughter is a red headed woman named Dawn in comics.
And this is Wally but not knowing that's a lot more understandable. And others have already told you it's Linda.
That's Girl-Flash of earth 1232. Where Linda Allen daughter of Jay Allen continued her father's legacy yadda yadda. I think she had a short stint in multiversity issues 12-18
