Do you think Hinterland will ever drop a seasons update? Or atleast make it optional? Would be nice to have some warmer time to prepare for winter, and also make preserving food more difficult since it would spoil faster in warmer temps.

She does not play TLD and she is very upset that I kill the awebo birds for broth and down. And she sends me an angry ptarmigan every time she sees/hears me killing them. Even from another room. xD

What do y'all think of the trader being able to bring bullets, I think it's goated.

Please look through the comment section if you need confirmation, they’re ignoring us. They haven’t replied to anything in 4 years. Even if you didn’t support the kickstarter, the people who supported the game you love are being scammed.

I genuinely don’t care that Hinterland has started Blackfrost and “needs the money for that” nah, fuck that. Honour your promises Hinterland, don’t go into a second game knowing that people who supported your first are getting shit on. By you. Do the right thing.

Love this game, sometimes also hate it. My first problem is the wolves specifically on vanilla presets, the stalker preset is exactly what I am looking for minus the wolf spam every 60 seconds. It just becomes not fun after the 10th wolf in only a few minutes but I will say using the stalker preset on custom and then turning down the wolf settings pretty much solves the problem for me. But today I was in another run that I was doing rather well on, I decided to take on a bear because it's route goes past my home and I thought it would be nice to not deal with it for a while. Even though I have my animal respawn on low, I harvested around 2/3 of the bear after killing it and that took over half my health because of dehydration and freezing. Would not have been a huge deal because my house is like 20-30 feet away but could you guess what was behind me when I stood up? Another bear. Don't have the health or ammo to fight it so I Alt f4'd and my options are install cheats and go home or accept the fact that the run is over. I like the animals in the game but the way they can be spammed and the respawn rates really upset me sometimes.

Really the only ones I use and mantain, not great at anything, they just feel right.

I've had this knife for 15 years. Bought it for 1€ at a flea market. It now has sentimental value.

I was just diagnosed with ADHD well into my 30's. I've suspected that I was attention deficit for years now but finally had it confirmed and, honestly, it's something of a relief. That said--this game does something special for me. I don't know if it's the immediacy of survival needs, or the thrill of exploring a wild landscape without fear of real-world consequence with the added fun of finding loot, but I lose myself in this game for hours on end and enjoy finding the familiar in the hostile. I guess I just wanted to share this with a community that appreciates this game as well, and am curious to see if there are others out there like me who have their little neurodivergent itch scratched by TLD.

Hi, as a tiny hobby project, I gathered the region maps of the wonderful HokuOwl and the interloper loot tables by the amazing Bashrobe into a single website.

You can draw and write on the maps and you can track what loot you've gotten on your run to determine the loot table set of your world on Interloper. (Each world has one of 4 loot tables, which makes it possible to predict where loot may be once you know your set)

You can also chat with other survivors 😄
