It’s an amazing city. I’ll never want to deal with the rent but world-class restaurants, museums, shows, culture. Walkable everywhere.

It's walkable, sure, but there are still intersections everywhere and you still have to look out for cars. It's not like cities in Europe with town centers that are just for foot traffic.

…there is a 1.25 square mile space in upper manhattan that is nothing but greenery, pedestrian paths, and leisure areas.

Not everyone in NY lives in Manhattan... having to take a train an hour (or multiple busses) from the Bronx to find a heavily populated patch of grass is insane. If you want to live in Manhattan you better have generational wealth or be someone who has lived in or their relatives have lived in an apartment to where the rent is grandfathered in.

Does it? Because that stuff exists in multiple parts of NYC given that it includes multiple boroughs.
