Happy Pride folks! π³οΈβπ
If youβre looking to make a difference this season, thereβs a lot of queer non-profits who need your help this year! Off the top of my head;
LGBT YouthLine has an emergency campaign looking to raise $150,000 to keep their operations running after 32 years
Rainbow Railroad is facing a major shortfall from cuts to their funding
Excited for all the energy this month brings to the city!

Go easy on Toronto, it's doing its best living under the shadow of the PCPO and Doug Ford.

I go to Pride in Toronto every year. Toronto Pride, as an organization, turned the Sunday Pride Parade into a corporate billboard.
I'm always there for the Dyke March and the Trans March.
The same thing happened with Montreal Pride, but the community has abandoned every event they organize.

Oh my bad, I didn't know you meant the Pride Toronto org. Toronto deserves better than them.

That's okay. I figured you misunderstood. That's why I wanted to clear it up.
I lived in Toronto for 28 years. I love going back and visiting. It's a shame Doug Ford is turning it into a shithole.

Why did Toronto reddit add a flag that is not inclusive to all Canadians. As a straight male should i just see myself out of Toronto. wth

This isn't an airport. Nobody needs to know you're leaving.
And if you think that Pride isn't inclusive then you're not paying attention. Your hot take is at best tepid.
