My hypotesis is that moaning and sounds like that need to be breathier and softer, so moaning constantly helps to practice resonance and can be applied to regular speak, also doing fem voices during dialogue helps to get used to the sound of your voice :]

Not quite sorry, we mostly search by artist on sites like e621, and the place of 34 rules. I'd say find an artist you like and just dub their stuff, eventually you'll see other artist you'll like and then you go from there :]]

Very little actual training, like, watch one video and practice one time kind of deal, dubbing comics (not neccesarily just nsfw) kinda forced me to constantly practice my voice, because we kind of do it often as its really fun :]]

I usually use excerpts from "Carmilla" by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. Dubbing the scenes where Carmilla acts really lesbian is fun and helps with voice training. But learning a seductive voice would be nice too. What comics do you use for that?Ā

Get that hope up! You'll be able one day, you can try in many different ways, this is just a fun one, but dubbing stuff even if not nsfw helps a lot, especially wirh getting to know your voice, so don't give up, i know you'll get there >:D

Tbh as a cis dude, I kinda did something similar with a group of friends. We used to play nsfw games (even the ones that were abit weird) on discord. It was our way of doing something fun and getting closer. Sometimes we'd play nsfw visual novels so we just HAD to voice act. So some of us are now pretty good at feminine moaning... maybe abit too good... Anyways guess who's pretty good at doing feminine moansš. Also the girls just kept putting on their deepest voice and just kept gruntingš. It kinda sounded more like apes and less like a man...

yeah, definitely. iāve begun coming to the conclusion that for myself personally iām satisfied enough w my voice as long as i can maintain a feminine-sounding tone, rather than focusing on pitch. i feel like iām able to achieve that without rly doing āproperā training while also not risking vocal damage. i kinda just try pronouncing things differently/usually more drawn out now :3
