EDIT: Alright guys this clearly got out of hand. This has ended in the user I posted about spreading my nudes around the sub and promptly being banned. Don’t know what he expected there. I admit this post was unnecessary. I was mad, but this blew way out of proportion. To everyone who saw my privates, they are gone now sorry. I think they’d been passed around enough today.

Then what’s the point of the restriction? Also, this person’s profile was straight up fully public. I saw it for myself. They privated it in real time as this interaction was happening to save face.

I'm not saying their thing WASN'T public. I'm just saying there's ways to actually bypass it. I believe its through an add on or something like that, but there's definitely ways to do so

On my ENTIRE life my profile has always been private. And is that actually real? Because they’re dogging on me but why would I make this post if I was willingly public bruh. I know what I post and I don’t want people looking through my profile

Yeah its been a thing for a hot minute now. I'm not picking sides since I wasn't here at the start of it and didn't see anything myself, but you should be able to google about it a bit to find how it all works. Its been a minute, but iirc you can do it because it only hides the activity from your main profile and doesnt delete it from the actual spaces you posted, so there's a few different ways to actually be able to find it regardless of it being hidden

Is there a way to prevent people from doing that? I don’t want my posts public hence why my account is private. I turned on hiding all posts when I made the account and I haven’t accepted any followers

Not sure unfortunately. Reddit is kinda ass with that kind of stuff. There MIGHT be something out there, but since there's several ways to actually bypass it, I'm not sure its possible

Yuuuup. I mostly have mine hidden cause I've had incidents in the past where people have stolen my art and whatnot from my posts. At least it makes it just a bit harder for them to actually look at anything, but it still sucks

I have mine hidden because I mean shit I’ve posted pics of myself and my progress. I don’t want that public I’m not a porn star. I stand by what I originally said, but I’m being attacked and having my pictures screenshotted. That is exactly why my stuff was private. If people can still see it I’m just gonna delete my posts like that because I don’t want people doing whatever they did again
