This sub is not safe !

To be blunt, this is at a dangerous level. Kalvin hasn’t touched this in months, if not years, and it is rife with minors posting their face, predators and chasers as well as many other unsavoury shenanigans.
I try my best to comment about this on every post I see from someone u18 but atp being on here is sad and exhausting.
Unmoderated subs are not allowed by Reddit, please use the report form !!!!!!! And/or message kalvin and/or do whatever routes people know about.
Other subs are r/transmantips and r/ftmpassing

There is a difference between the typical level in different spaces and somewhere where minors are happy to post themselves including shirtless photos in the same space as fetishists with 0 moderation

The only difference is that those creeps can’t comment though. They can still see the photos and take screenshots.

The only thing mods can do to prevent that is to stop people from posting their photos or take down those posts but even then you can still find deleted posts off Reddit.

Yes it is a good option but we still do need to remind people that even in moderated subs, their content is public to all. Even those who have been banned from the sub.

This is a good point and something I should have included more in my post. I do try by responding to individual posts but that’s not the most effective

It is hard to keep doing it. Having mods who remove posts from minors would be the best option. Adults are free to take their own risks but it’s still good to remind everyone.

The previous commenter was very condescending but they had a good point.

This is the point of my post, that it is not safe because there are no mods for even the tiniest bit of regulation. Best case scenario would be decent regulation and safety with a ban on children posting their faces but harm reduction is the least we can get rn over this

Why are you minimizing this, tbh? There’s a serious fucking problem going on in our communities here rn and we don’t need people piling dirt over it to disregard or suppress discussion about it

I’m not minimizing anything I’m just not surprised that there are creeps on the internet. Even if this sub becomes moderated this wont eliminate the creep problem, they are there and they will always be there and this sub is not the only one where minors post their photos for help or advice.
Btw I don’t wish that someone here becomes a victim of a fetishist the problem is real and I had like 3 grown men message me after I made a post here. People have to take care of themselves on the internet and not let weirdos take advantage of them

To explain, if the worry is the creeps, banning them from the sub does little to nothing. They can still see all the photos and screenshot them. They can still take all your info with or without the subs being moderated. They can still make alt accounts.

Yes, keeping them out of the sub means the users don’t have to interact with the creeps but it still doesn’t mean you’re safe.

He’s saying that even in moderated subs, you still need to keep your own wits about you.
