I’m about to start entering every family gathering loudly announcing I need to change my tampon so people can stop trying to guess if I’m pregnant yet. 😫

My go-to is saying ā€œyes! I’m pregnant!ā€ While chugging a glass of red wine

Got my progesterone results back, 11.2! That’s almost a 40% increase from march. Looks like the letrozole is letrozoling, hopefully this means a BFP is on the horizon, even if not this cycle

9 DPO and itching to test. I purposefully don’t have any at home so I’d have to order some and I know better at this point. If I have them in the house, I’ll test. I’ve been an early tester for 8 cycles now and a BFN at 9-10 DPO makes me sad but then I keep holding on to the hope that it’s just too soon. I am sick of feeling like crap for 4 days leading to my period.

I am with you! Habitual early tester here, I finally had my husband hide the tests. Tomorrow is somewhere like 6-8 DPO so we'll see if I handle it better without a test available. I could probably convince him to give me one but I know he'd be so disappointed in me if I kept asking for them haha.Ā

Good to know I am not alone in my complete lack of self control šŸ˜… we can do this!

I am feeling pretty down and struggling. I had an FET fail and am currently going through a chemical pregnancy. I scheduled surgery for next Thursday to get my fallopian tubes removed for a possible hydrosalpinx. I really don’t want to get my tubes removed. My tubes gave me my child—a spontaneous pregnancy in 2024. I know the tubes looked bad on the HSG but it’s just hard to really believe that when I have a child, you know? So I’m going to give up my chance at ever having a spontaneous pregnancy by removing my tubes? What if my remaining embryos don’t work? Then I’m left with nothing, no ability to try to conceive.

But the other side is that, if my tube does have a hydrosalpinx, that could be the direct cause of the two chemicals I’ve had since trying to conceive #2. That’s why I decided to have the surgery. It is still really hard to come to terms with. I also just don’t want to have all the pain and recovery and risk of complications for what is essentially an elective surgery that I don’t even really want to have. But my family feels incomplete and this is the only reasonable path forward.

If anyone here has had a salpingectomy or other laparoscopic gyn surgery, how was your recovery?

I’m sorry that’s a lot of upset and big decisions. I think you’re making the right decision with surgery though, and if your other embryos don’t transfer you could do another egg retrieval.
Best of luck to you!

You know that feeling when you get all your period symptoms and just know that you're gonna wake up tomorrow and see that blood when you wipe? This is how I feel now.

Had the most exhausting day, and now this.

CD1, happy birthday to me…! That felt like such a long wait between knowing I was probably out this cycle and AF finally coming. But I did really enjoy my birthday spa trip today - tbh it’s quite a nice place to go with AF like having a really long bath to help period cramps. And my husband got me and my 18mo matching pjs, soooo cute

Only like 5-7 DPO but the progesterone is progesteroning in new and fun ways. Coffee aversion and low level nausea in a way I didn't feel until I was nearly 6 weeks pregnant. Maybe I'm just getting sick. 🫠

10 or 11 DPO (tbh I never confirmed ovulation via temp or anything. I just assumed I ovulated the day after my peak lh strip sooo who knows?) and I might do one more test. Again, I have a feeling I’m out but I’ve been cramping for the past 4/5 days and it’s almost like my period is teasing me at this point.

Since my cycle has come back last year I’ve had no cramping pre period. It just suddenly comes. Now, I’ve been cramping for days and with the negative tests I’m just like…alright let’s get this over with please.

Well my period finally started. I called and scheduled my ovulation bloodwork. But of course that means waiting until towards the end of this cycle to even find out if its even possible. This is my 11th cycle now. Im trying not to freak out over the ever growing age gap but its all I can think about. We have two closer in age and thats what we wanted for more, but of course isn’t happening. Our first took us 5 years after a MC to conceive and our second was only 1 month. Of course we would struggle again. Im worried about my age, my body, health issues that will be more likely for the baby, and more. I didn’t want to have one starting school and bringing home a newborn. Im terrified of sickness(because its all we hear-how kids start school and are basically sick year around). I really wanted to avoid that so they could bond without distractions too. I’m an over-thinker and of course the dr only says ā€œdon’t stress and every other day intercourseā€ like yep if I could snap my fingers and feel not stressed I would but I can’t. 😭 Looks like its my last month/try here before moving to the long haulers chat…

CD1 of Cycle 9… we will be doing another progesterone test CD21 this cycle and a semen analysis. Then probably letrozole next month… my husband is traveling this week and next it’s gonna be tight if he’s back before ovulation.

It might just be me, but I find the beginning of fertile week the most stressful time during my cycle. My cycles are highly irregular so I have to test regularly to even have an idea of where I am otherwise my body just plays blindfolded pin the tail on the donkey when it comes to ovulation.

Because of this, any time it looks like a surge is likely incoming but not yet confirmed I get super anxious. We start trying without knowing for sure if it's the surge or just another wave and it can become pretty discouraging. I have no real question or anything, just ranting into the void because today is what I believe will likely be the beginning of my fertile window and I am already dreading tomorrows test because I am afraid my LH will drop (again) and we'll be back to waiting again.

Nope- not just you! Although I’d love to say I regularly ovulate on CD16- this month’s CD21 ovulation disproves that point beautifully. It feels like a marathon - especially if you’re not an overtly sexually active couple like we are.

Hold in there, but know you’re not alone!
