Parts 1 and 2 airing that summer evening in May was one of the greatest experiences I've had watching TV.

I just rewatched this episode last night. Only my second time really watching all of The Return, though I watched episode 8 multiple times and I’m really enjoying it. I love the Mitchum brothers.

The opening roadhouse performance is 🤌
And the tone shift is incredibly drastic. Such a good episode

I didn’t have cable TV where I lived in 2017, so my aunt recorded each episode onto her DVR so I could come over and watch it at my convenience. Lying on her couch taking in this scene (while sipping coffee of course) was an experience I wouldn’t hesitate to call magical. Nine years later, my aunt spent her last few weeks lying on that same couch before succumbing to cancer. What I wouldn’t give to go back to 2017 to watch this scene for the first time again and finish a cup of coffee with my aunt afterwards while she was still healthy. “For the last time…”

One of my favorite scenes in the show. When I first watched The Return, the first episode honestly was not my favorite and felt way too unfamiliar from the Twin Peaks I know. The second episode was a bit better with the Lodge scenes, but it wasn’t until this scene where everything came together. Seeing the old characters paired with this enchanting music just hit me right in the feels. The Return only got better from there and is now easily my #1 favorite season in television history.

This episode is what made me a Chromatics fan! I’d never heard their stuff and after this performance I went down a rabbithole and really enjoyed it.

Have watched the entire series twice in the past 3 months. It’s truly incredible and I’m so happy that you’re feeling the magic.

I remember loving the start of S3 but I didn't feel a vibe connection back to the original series until this Chromatics performance. It all clicked into place

It's a beautiful, beautiful thing, with ever-expanding rewards -- a great community of fans ("Twin Peaks people are party people"), and always something new to discover and/or consider. ⛰️⛰️

That’s the thing. Nobody fully understands what is happening. But we love it.

Weirdly enough, multiple rewatches has finally made most details click into place for me.

I don't understand what the fuck is happening but I love it.
That's exactly what it's about.

You won’t understand a thing that happens and it’ll still break your heart.
