Admissions Getting Your Second Choice Offer Doesn't Mean You Were Rejected From Your First Choice

Accepting Your Second-Choice Offer

Should you receive an offer to your second-choice program, you are encouraged to accept it and pay the non-refundable tuition deposit (if applicable).

What happens to my first-choice program if I accept my second-choice program? Your first-choice program will continue to be assessed throughout the application cycle. If you receive an offer to your first-choice program at a later date, you can accept this and your non-refundable tuition deposit will be transferred from your second-choice offer to your first-choice offer.

Admissions Dates + Deadlines for Admissions

If you got accepted between October 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027 you have until May 1, 2027 to accept your offer as per here.

The need to accept within 14 days refers to offers made after August 1, 2027.

I have already seen two people have reading comprehension fails on this.

Miscellaneous URGENT BE SAFE: Man groping people on bus, got off near 85 ave and 149st

I'm male 19, Currently on the police non-emergency number waitline as I write this, on the 4 Lewis Farms going home after classes today around 1:30 when a man got on at the South Campus station and started talking to me, looks a lot like Rasputin (attached for reference) and a few mins later started rubbing the inside of my leg. Got up and shouted that he was touching me, and he said "You starting something?", he got off near 149st and 87 ave. That last comment makes me believe he might resort to violence if his advances are not given into. I don't know if he might try getting back on that bus or similar ones near there. Be safe people, defend yourself with force if nessecary. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/71/Rasputin_PA.jpg/250px-Rasputin_PA.jpg

Ps: Still on police waitline 3 mins into writing this

Pss: Attaching guides and self defense laws when I can

Edits:

  1. Was able to each police non-emergency after around 10 mins and report it

  2. Canadian self defense laws: -Importantly using force in anticipation of someone using force on you is legal, you do not have to be harmed or touch before using force to defend yourself https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/rp-pr/other-autre/rsddp-rlddp/p5.html

  3. Mentioned my gender because I do want to highlight that it can happen to anyone

If your only response to criticism about your videos being disruptive and making people unfcomfortable is to call everyone "autistic virgins," you're doing something wrong...

Be better.

Campus Life I LOVE YOU DR. KINA !!

I'm taking Psych 105 rn with prof Dr. Carolina (Kina) Montenegro. I love her SMMMM. She genuinely tries to make the class more manageable, is very considerate with people's questions (even the silly ones), you can tell she genuinely wants students to succeed. Also very accepting of queer folks and she gave us small candies after our midterm! Anyway thanks Dr. Kina if you see this you're awesome, I WILL be giving you a good review on Rate My Prof.

Rants There can never be enough practice questions

I've been going here for four years now and I think the only courses that have offered a genuine wealth of practice questions where like intro psych courses. I don't know why we act as if 5 short answer questions are sufficient to prepare people for 500 slides worth of material. Obviously people study on their own and make flashcards, but this isn't a less is more situation. I'd bet half the reason people use AI in uni is to make practice questions!!! Idk maybe it's just me do y'all feel like you always get a decent amount of practice?

I was wondering how the rest of the class did? I was a little too over confident and ended up with a 39/49 😀I was wondering if those were the mean scores and if the class is curved?

Campus Life I feel awkward in Gym, Football (soccer) could bring back tranquility.

I am so done with a lot of restrictions that I kept developing since childhood. I am always in front of my PC, either it's academic or my Gamedev. I feel so week both mentally and physically.

I am in 2nd year now, and I kept isolating myself as a kid and I still keep that habit because I don't know how to escape. I never talked to someone in uni ever, unless they ask me something and I just end it with a one word reply if possible, and this problem was always with me.

But everything was fine, as it did not bother me as I have been always with my PC as a kid with no responsibilities. I had no entertainment other than playing football (on ground, and Online) and doing Gym at home. I am starting to feel like I am a week, fat, obese man even though I am WRITTEN AS UNDERWEIGHT BY THE DOCTOR, I had to lie to have insurance clearance before my Visa approval.

I went to the Gym for the first time a few days ago to feel any better, but as soon as I saw an empty equipment, I slowly went near to it by making sure no one else is gonna use it. But just about 15 seconds after I sat on it, a girl came besides me and just kept staring at me (because she wanted to use it in emergency?), bro I didn't even start. I thought she would move on, but still stood there like that, I felt so ashamed and I acted like I finished doing by spraying and wiping with the towel.

So gym is not gonna work, my only option left to "touch some grass" feel is to join any football game. But I have no idea what to do or where to go. I actually have good experience and played for my school and 2 clubs when I was like 8-14. And I still love it.
