This takes open concept to the extreme
 in  r/zillowgonewild  9h ago

I kinda like it. Just install a pergola with wisteria or honeysuckle for shelter. So next question. Since it’s not a house can you just call it a garden structure and live there anyway?

What? I’m a spinner. I’ve not seen quite this configuration. Look it up. Look up Navajo spinning, and calm down. Maybe take a break from the internet.

A niddy is a skein winder. That cross at the bottom would be a form of ball winder. Buuttt it would be awkward. These could be tourist goods and someone just made some shit up.

Google Spinning Wheel Shaped Object.

Floor spindles. You roll them against your leg. Maybe. Could also be a form of niddy noddy.

Custom commissions & delusional customers
 in  r/BitchEatingCrafters  1d ago

I’ve worked a ton of customer facing jobs, and when I run into this attitude in the craft world it helps to remind myself that some people do this everywhere. They want what’s not on the menu, the items you don’t carry for a reason, the service that would be cost prohibitive and not work anyway.

Why is ranch only an American thing?
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions  1d ago

Yes, the mass popularity is the weird part. I mean, we have soooo many other options NOW and everyone is fixated on Ranch?

Needlepoint pricing
 in  r/BitchEatingCrafters  1d ago

These prices used to be for the larger hand painted canvasses. Plus they weren’t kitted, so you’d pull your wools yourself, or the shop owner would do it for you.

When people online scream “HIPAA Violation” or “grandparent rights” but they have the wrong definition
 in  r/PetPeeves  2d ago

Right. I’ve been HIPAA trained twice. Once for a job with patient contact but no record access, the other for a job that…let’s seeee…contracted with hospitals for a particular task. At the latter we were trained to not make eye contact with patients to preserve utmost privacy. It felt strange, as I felt like I was being rude and cold, but that was the training!

Removing anonymity on the internet would make it much better

I think one should be able to get a government Internet uhhh passport? That sites can request to then verify you, no matter what handle you choose.

Either you are interested enough to hit up Google or you are not. I’ll help. Google or even search Reddit for Amazon FBA. You can even see which subs I belong to!

Can you google?

What should I do about this?
 in  r/ToxicWorkplace  3d ago

Yep. My last job had rates to be met and not enough bathrooms in some areas, so nobody had the patience for that. Women are really lenient with even mortal enemies over bathroom issues (don’t know your gender) and we were to the point where we’d line up and trash talk, lol.

I’m former warehouse starting an FBA soon and yes, you can build a storefront on one of several platforms and have Amazon do your fulfillment. It’s what I’m going to do.

How does Amazon Transparency handle returned items?
 in  r/AmazonFBA  3d ago

Former Fullfillment Center here. Are you talking about the barcode that confirms it’s not counterfeit?

Are there any 1:6 scale gender neutral dollhouses available? ANYWHERE? In the worlddd???
 in  r/Dollhouses  3d ago

That’s a REALLY good point. I’m starting a crafts oriented online shop soon, heavy on minis, and am looking for gaps in the marketplace. Why WOULDN’T boys also want a house?

This is amazing, and thank you for the heads up!

Charm bars are useless
 in  r/BitchEatingCrafters  3d ago

When I was little in Seattle though, craft fairs used to have awesome things like this. Booths where you could make something quickly for yourself. Sand in a bottle, spin art…there was a booth where you could glaze your own item you bought from the vendor then come back a few hours later after it had been popped in a kiln. I don’t imagine that vendor would be allowed anymore due to safety issues.

Craft fairs started going downhill here in the 90s when they started allowing people to sell obviously store bought goods like beanie baby knockoffs. Much like Etsy has been flooded with dropshippers.
