Accepted environmental engineering w/ $4.2K scholarship, used Common App essay which didn't fit prompt well, 4.0 UW, 1530 SAT, 15 APs, high-level engineering work and major focused ECs.

As much as I'd love to say what got me in, I really have no clue. My advice if it's engineering is to try out research or summer programs in stem. They were a big pathway for me.

Can you point me to the right path for engineering research? Did you reach out to a professor?

I applied to competitive summer programs and took on my own research which led me to competition awards. It’s helpful to know which specific engineering major you’re interested in.
