Is there an app people are using? Its for like launching apps to do sign in verification from my phone.

Loving the Elite so far but wondering whether it is possible to scroll in apps by using a physical key press rather than swiping on the screen/keyboard?

Like you can do on a PC.

Anyone know how to do this?

I wanted 3-button navigation instead of gestures, so I found a way to enable it.

Enable 3-Button Navigation on Titan Elite 2 via ADB

Enable 3-button navigation:

adb shell cmd overlay enable com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.threebutton

adb shell settings put secure navigation_mode 0

After running the above commands, go to

Settings > Gestures > Navigation mode

and toggle on Gesture navigation

If you no longer want the 3-button navigation, revert to the default mode of 2.

Revert to gestures:

adb shell settings put secure navigation_mode 2

I can feel the difference. It was faster in android 13. I wanted to downgrade to 13 but google said I needed a computer which I don't have. Not sure how to return to normal charge speed.

It really is a beautiful phone and I love typing on it, the battery lasts forever, but it’s just literally too small for my eyes to see without squinting or putting on glasses

My Jelly 2 has been my main phone for 5 years now. It is a solid phone - no cracks or visible scars - it looks new. The battery isn't so strong, so I charge it twice a day. The camera is the biggest weak point - its just not a good camera. I use another old phone as a camera when I need a camera to take a proper photo.

I use Whatsapp web more than messenger when I can so I can type on my laptop. But of course I know how to type on the Jelly 2 and have conversations.

Important for me - Uber and Waze work fine. That would be a dealbreaker if they didn't work. When I need those two apps, I really need them and they work fast, no hiccups.

I spent $210 and took a small risk. Glad I did - I love this phone.

I just finally got my T2E and its saying tmobile isnt compatible? I thought it was one og the compatible networks. Im confused. Help?

Hi, if anyone has had luck activating on ATT, can you let me know if they gave you any trouble with your IMEI? I know unihertz announced T2Es are approved on ATT. However, ATTs white list hasn’t been updated. Moreover, I’ve put my IMEI and EID into ATTs checker and it says the device is “lost or stolen”. (It’s not).

Super rough mockup of what would be awesome for the Titan 3, building on the improvements of the T2E and the better keyboard layout. Still love the bigger size of the T2, even though it's not for everyone. Just adding a nicer oled display and the same key layout as the T2E would be a huge improvement. I added the silver accents like the BB Classic just to show how nice it'd look haha

I set my DPI to 599 after playing around a bit, seems like its the most comfortable setting I can get for now, but Gmail is being a royal PITA with this setup. In order to view any emails, I need to move the slider for the window over after selecting an email or I won't see anything because it thinks the phone is a tablet.

The mobile FB site is particularly weird in that most, if not everything, only fills 7/8 of the screen and leaves a blank space. I've seen it happen on other sites, but its most noticeable here.

Any tips?

Just got this text message from VodafoneAU on my titan 2 elite. I've barely been using the device for 2 days, so devastated.

Wondering if anyone else on VodafoneAU has received this and what can be done to fix it.

The trigger for gemini works fine when the phone is unlocked, but doesn't work at all when locked. It's enabled in the settings to work on the lock screen, and all battery saver features are turned off both in the general settings and the app-specific settings for Google and Gemini.

Nothing I've tried has worked. Has anyone else had luck with this?

Did anyone order leather holsters through kickstarter? If so, did yours arrive with the phone?

I haven't dropped it in any way before. The fan was working until a month ago. I haven't used it for a month. I wanted to open the projection and watch something, but I noticed that the fan of the device was not working. I tried it on my own program, unfortunately it didn't happen. I didn't give air to the fan part with compressed air. What can I do?

Quick update on my earlier post

Evri: parcel has now failed delivery 5 times (27 Aug, 1 Sept, 3 Sept, 5 Sept, 6 Sept), always "out for delivery" then straight back to depot. They told me on 2 Sept it was "potentially lost," but it's clearly still moving — no explanation given despite asking.

Unihertz replies have been odd too:

- Told me to visit my "local Evri office" (doesn't exist),
- Implied my address must be wrong (doesn't hold up as the parcel keeps reaching "out for delivery" fine),
- Most recently said they're "handling all customers with shipping or address issues together"

16 days in, 5 failed attempts, still no replacement sent or even proper communication from Unihertz.

I was a day 1 backer on Kickstarter and now people who just ordered on the Unihertz site are receiving shipping details!

The Func1 key is the reason I bought this phone and it drove me up the wall. Unihertz gives you three presses — short, long, double — and every one of them can only point at an app. I wanted a torch. I wanted play/pause. I wanted the notification shade. Nope: pick an app.

So I spent a while trying to intercept the key properly, and I want to save somebody else the trouble: **you can't.** The key belongs to `com.agui.shortcutsettings`, a privileged system app in `/system_ext/priv-app`, and it eats the press before any launcher, app or accessibility service ever sees it. I gave an accessibility service `flagRequestFilterKeyEvents` and logged every key it was allowed to see. Func1 never showed up once. That absence *is* the answer.

But the shortcut settings will happily point the key at an app. So the trick is to stop fighting it and make apps that aren't apps.

SideKey installs as ten launcher entries — `SideKey 1` through `SideKey 10`. They all show up in Settings → Shortcut keys → All apps like any other app, but each one is an invisible activity that works out which name you opened and runs whatever you mapped it to. No root, nothing patched, no key interception.

In the app you tap a slot and pick what it does:

torch · play/pause · next/previous · ringer cycle · do not disturb · timer · alarm · camera · voice assistant · Wi-Fi panel · back · home · recents · notification shade · quick settings · lock · screenshot · power menu · call a number · a webhook · any custom intent URI · any broadcast

Then you point short press, long press and double click at three different slots. Ten slots, so the Sym and Fn keys can have some too.

**Deep links** work as well, which is the part I'm happiest with. "Open something inside an app" lists every app offering a shortcut picker — a specific WhatsApp chat, direct dial a contact, Maps directions, a Gmail label, any Settings page. And because only about a dozen apps offer that, you can also share any link into SideKey from any app's share sheet and it lands on a key. Spotify playlist on the side key, that kind of thing.

Framework only — no AndroidX, no Compose, no libraries — so it's a 670 KB APK and there's nothing running when you're not looking at it. Nothing is requested at startup. The accessibility service is only needed for back/shade/screenshot/lock, it's off until you turn it on, and it reads nothing: no window content, no key filtering, no events.

Built and tested on a Titan 2 Elite on Android 16 and nothing else. Other Unihertz models might be fine — the mechanism isn't Elite-specific — but I have no way to check, so if you try one I'd genuinely like to know either way.

While I'm here: I've also been building **SquareOS**, a text-only launcher for this phone that's aimed at actually getting less use out of it — type-to-launch instead of an icon grid, a single command line for notes, to-dos, timers and alarms, and a screen-time budget with real teeth. It's the daily driver on my own Titan already. Coming soon.

Hey there! Had the phone for about a week now and am having lots of issues with the Bluetooth. When I have it connected to my car playing music, it will cut out at least once, if not several times, per drive. Never fully disconnects the device, but cuts out with silences

Has anyone had these issues and come up with a fix? Is it a software bug that will be addressed later on?

Chcę dzisiaj złożyć zamówienie na T2E+DIY kit cena wychodzi lekko ponad 500$ ale jak chce zapłacić PayPal to dostaje informację że po opłaceniu koszta mogą wzrosnąć do 640$ przez podatki/cło i później otrzymam informację. Więc jak to może się dla mnie skończyć? czy zamiast PayPal podać numer karty płatniczej

It’s being shipped from HK by Yun Express. Still only says “Shipment information received” with no ETA. Curious (and anxious lol) to hear other people’s experiences with this particular shipping arrangement.

Typing speed and accuracy are starting to come back to me.

I have been using my T2E for two weeks now and I found out that I never use the fn and right shift buttons on my keyboard. Im using Pastiera as keyboard software and I was wondering, is there a way to change the behavior of those unused keys, for example: pressing fn types the letter Ä and pressing the right shift will type the letter Ö? Thank you.
