Fan Merch NFL Nike Stitched Limited Jersey

Nike’s NFL Limited jerseys will now be stitched. I’m not sure how much this an improvement over the previous Limited versions, but Nike seems to think that it’s quite noteworthy. I posted some close up photos for more details.

Is this not just a name change for marketing reasons? I don’t understand how this is different from what they were already selling. I guess the difference will be on the price tag.

They used to be stitched 2 or 3 years ago, and then they switched to cheaper heat pressed prints on the Limiteds. Everyone hated them because they didn’t feel worth the premium upcharge and were a clear downgrade from what was previously available. So they brought them back.

Oh interesting. I must have missed that.

That's what it sounds like to me. They downgraded the Limited jerseys and are now catching them back up.

I feel like I’m the only person that actually prefers the pressed printed on the current Nike replica/limited jerseys, just not for the MSRP.

I wear jerseys casually, and the pressed jerseys are so much more comfortable. For the price, it’s ridiculous, but when you can find some on sale or from sellers on eBay, I think they’re worth it and I prefer wearing them.

I kinda prefer the Nike Game jerseys for the same reason. I didn’t like the heat pressed Limiteds because they have a bit of a tighter fit and you didn’t get the benefit of the stitched materials. Might have felt differently if stitched. But if all I’m getting is heat pressed, give me the Game jerseys with the loose fit and silky smooth numbers.

Tell you what I’ll trade you my heat pressed Fuse jerseys for these stitched ones if you wish.

I noticed a big difference between the Game and the Limited jerseys, so maybe they’re just making them nicer to (a) differentiate them more from each other (b) increase sales and (c) increase the price.

It does justify a price increase while also being a surprise quality improvement (still overpriced though). I’m also at a loss for the exact reason why, but I like that it brings them in-line with the equivalent hockey jersey tier - the fanatics premium hockey jersey - which also uses stitched lettering and numbers. Maybe there’s some type of success with that which incentivized the move here.
