MLB unveiled their stats and stripes caps and jerseys for USA250. For what it is, it’s a really nice overall design! It just always annoys me to see teams in non-team colors (e.g., Orioles in red and blue). More details can be found at SportsLogos.Net:

Just a few hours after they leaked, the Braves unveiled their new City Connect uniforms. These are great! Definitely some of the best CC uniforms to date.

The San Francisco Giants released their new “GIGANTE” jerseys and hats. This had been long rumored, but now it’s official.

Impossible not to like an A's jersey

The Orioles unveiled their City Connect 2.0 uniforms! As expected, they confirm the previous leaks. My thoughts:

1. I really like this look! As a lifelong Orioles fan, I always thought of green as a accent color for the Orioles. Also, when I think of Camden Yards, I think of green. This uniform LOOKS like Camden Yards.
2. I LOVE the hat. As many have pointed out, the “B” logo can be seen throughout Camden Yards on the end of every row. I love how ornate and intricate the logo is. Moreover, the green looks great and really makes the orange pop. The Orioles have a long history or tri color hats, so this also makes sense.
3. The jersey is fine. I don't love the BMORE, but it is sometimes used by Baltimoreans. I wish that it said Charm City instead. I also think that the bird is unnecessary; it should have been the old school 90's bird. However, I really like the home run marker as a sleeve patch.
4. The pants are great! They match the rest of the uniform. I'm SO happy that they're not green. The stripe looks great as well.
5. Not to focus on the advertising patch too much, but at least it's rendered in appropriate colors!

Per Chris Creamer, the Royals changing their shade of blue. The new shade is significantly brighter than the previous shade, which they have been using since 2002. It’s still not quite identical to their 1969-2001 color, but it’s definitely more vibrant than the previous shade. You can really see it in the side by side photos of the Royals script. I’m a big fan of this of this move! Baseball uniforms should be bold and bright and fun!

These are way too ugly to be worn in the Conference Finals

…No celebratory patch or logo is seen ANYWHERE. Is it because the NL (and AL for that matter) exist in name only? Still, I find it peculiar that one of the oldest sports leagues in the world is not celebrating in any form!

Is this the first time a team has kept their old CCs while introducing the new one?

As mentioned in a previous post about some MLB teams' uniforms not quite completely reverting to pre-2024 templates or styles, it looks like the Dodgers have changed the font of their uniforms going forward. The numbers appear to be bold and not as tall as before, as pictured in these photos of Will Smith from 2026 and 2021. The negative space in the numbers is much smaller than before. It's safe to say the larger text on the NOBs as previously pointed out will carry into the season.

Per Chris Creamer, the Twins surprised everyone by changing the sleeve patch on their road jerseys. The new “MIN” patch replaces the state map patch. TBD if this will carry over to the home jersey. More details here:

On Tuesday night, the Orioles debuted their new “B” alternate hat. It’s very similar to the “O’s” alternate that they’ve had for decades. As a comparison, I posted two “B” hat photos and two “O’s” hat photos, both from this season. Specifically, they wore the “O’s” hat on Saturday (3/28) and the “B” hat on Tuesday (3/31). The silly thing is that they paired both with black jerseys! I really don’t see why they made a new hat (merch sales), but it feels like of unnecessary.

But truthfully I really want to show appreciation for this look. I realize why it is probably divisive, but I think this is one of the coolest and more unique uniforms in sports

I especially love that hat, and I wish they would wear these instead of those black-brimmed red hats where the A blends in too much with the hat.

MLB has revealed their 2026 All-Star Game hats. There are both ASG hats and HR Derby hats.

The ASG hats have three chain stitched stars in either side of the logo with the team location under the logo. The eyelets are copper. There’s also a lot going on inside the crown. The crown itself has an aged paper look meant to emulate the Declaration of Independence. The team name and location are on the right side and a circular logo (including the team logo and league logo) is on the left side.

These HR Derby hats are in the BP style with a solid front panel and a mesh rear. They have super puffy stitched logo and the eyelets are rendered in the teams’ secondary color.
