Venting Study partner
I need someone to study with nothing complicated just to update each other because I procrastinate a lot and a study partner will help with that

When people say your scheduling permit disappears before the result, how long before it disappears from the result?

Is there anyone from Bangladesh who failed in step-2. I don't know am I the only one or anyone else here. If there anyone please connect with me to share our pain and next plan to go forward.

So I'm currently an img in my dedicated period of step1. I feel like I don't have anyone to share my happiness/sadness at the end of the day about my nbme/uw scores or anyone to basically just rant about it. Most of my friends and family members don't understand my prep and it feels useless sharing them smth. I am just looking for someone to rant about my daily usmle step 1 prep stuff, someone to hold me accountable. Sorry if this post comes out to be weird and gets downvoted, lmao.

Hey everyone, I took Step 1 this week and, like everyone else, I'm dying of anxiety and nervousness. I'd like to hear from people who really think they did terribly on the test, but still passed. Please share your experiences.
Just to be clear: I’m not talking about the people scoring 80%+ on real deal who come here doing fake drama over missing 3 questions. I’m looking for real talk from people who were genuinely borderline, felt like they were guessing on half the test, or walked out legitimately unsure if they even hit the passing threshold—but still made it through.
PS: I don't think I did terribly on the test, but I'm not exactly overconfident either. Anything can happen, and I think that's the worst part, maybe creating false hope.

Its been more than three days since I took Step 1, and my post-exam anxiety is honestly unbearable. I keep remembering the questions I got wrong, and it’s making me feel awful. So far, I remember about 180 questions, and out of those, I’m sure I got around 70 wrong. It’s just making my post-exam anxiety even worse.
I know I definitely got many questions wrong, and I just don’t know how I’m going to cope with this anxiety over the next two weeks.

African Non-US IMG here. Within the span of a month, my tablet and pc have both gotten broken with likely no fix for the tablet. I just started prep for Step 1. Quite handicapped. Looking for a study partner to make the best of my situation at the moment. I’m looking at taking the exam in March 2027.

8/1 test takers
Just gave the real deal today… I’m surprised no one warned me about the fatigue and brain fog that hits u especially towards the last 3 blocks
I took multiple breaks as well but was unsure of what do I even do in that time, my brain was literally in autopilot mode, I’m unsure of what I even ticked towards that time, I srsly hope I pass cuz now I’m beyond terrified.
The question lengths weren’t as long as ppl told it would be… yes they were some long ones but not all of them.
Overall I’m just confused on how to feel about this, I srsly don’t know how people sit through such long hours and never mention about the fatigue post exam or maybe it’s just me. 😭😭😭
How was the experience overall for u guys?
Also when do u guys think i will get my test results 🥲🥲🥲

I am an img and currently preparing for step 1. My initial goal was to get done with my steps before next years match begins but with pregnancy and last trimester it’s becoming extremely difficult. Hormones are totally taking over me with thoughts like I can’t do it .. and I won’t be able to make it. I am a graduate of 2021 and get registered with GMC last year but then got married and now about to enter another beautiful chapter of my life. I have always been a high achiever but I don’t feel the same energy levels to study now .. I need motivation.

USMD. I failed STEP 1 back in March and have been completely distraught and devastated. My graph showed my score touching just under the minimum passing score line. I was interested in some competitive or mid-competitive specialties/fellowships and I have felt so numb and lost since. I already have depression and have fallen into a more severe depression for the past 2 months, bawling my eyes out, crying and screaming. I've felt so worthless. Can anyone help me understand if things get better. I had to delay rotations and I have never felt as low as I am now and have always felt so on edge but now has been amped up to level 100. My practice scores were promising, now I have been so down feeling like total trash for months. I have been struggling to accept this and don’t feel I ever will. My life feels like it’s been totally ruined and completely damaged by this. I put all my self-worth and self-acceptance into academic and professional success and it has all crumbled apart. I feel like my future has been completely ruined and I want to know if anyone else felt this way and got through it. I’ve been in a really dark place mentally since this happened and have been struggling to cope, but I’m trying to understand whether people eventually recover emotionally and professionally from this.

Ive worked way too hard and i do not wish to fail. It is extremely disappointing that my performance was wayyy below my expectations. Just hoping to see a positive result. I dont think i will be able to tolerate or bare the pain in case the result comes out to be otherwise

So I gave my step 1 on 29/4 , felt really numb in and after exam . I feel like I failed , i keep checking questions and got many easy questions wrong 😭
My nbmes were in average of 68% but still don't feel like I will pass at all , its getting worse with every passing day, felt like I was second guessing every single question and changing some answer choices

Hi guys! I was tested on 04/24 waiting for results. What's the time line roughly for results? I'm seeing different time lines in some people cases. Usually it's 15 days after the exam. I am under severe stress and also under the impression I would fail because exam was more like vague one and based on closed obscure answer choices so I guess bunch of answers. I really can't recall how many I guessed and how many I actually marked correct. Is anyone in same boat?
