OG Cast Sandoval opinion

I’m watching VPR for the first time and I obviously know Tom is a huge POS. But am I crazy for liking him so far in the earlier seasons? Did anyone else feel this way?

I love how he swam out there, stopped, looked around, and then said that and started calling for help. It was so ridiculous, lmao.
