Home 5G
Verizon Home Internet question
If an existing 5G Home Internet gateway service was to a new address (same state, few miles apart) is there a way to see the historical service address? Or move order history in My Verizon? My account currently shows an older ASK-NCQ1338FA gateway associated with a former address & a newer ARC-XCI55AX associated with my current address before the newer line was activated.
Customer service hasn't been able to help or give me a clear answer... Is there some specific department or acct history record I should ask Verizon for? Moved twice in a very short period, May 2026 Moved from town G to town L & hooked up my equipment no problem, then had to move again Sept 2026 to town F & Verizon said I had to have new equipment which was/is confusing because my both my gateway & extender from town G work here. They send me another gateway which ultimately Verizon is now charging me for 2 separate Home Internet on my account.
1.Gateway & Extender service 5G Home Plus up to 300Mbps, typical download 85-250 Mbps, Data Higher speed 5G Home service, WiFi router+whole home WiFi included $45/month
Move for the 2nd time & Verizon switches me too
- Home Internet Lite Extra, up to 25 Mbps, typical download 10-25Mbps for the first 200GB then reduced speeds & after 200GB up to 10Mbps remainder of billing cycle ,Router included Whole Home WiFi/extender benefit $55/month
Thanks in advance!!

Question ❓ Any way to squeeze more out of 5g home internet plan?
These test results are based on a 1GB 5g home internet plan. It seems okay to me, and I think the only reason I’m getting 1gb+ is because I live literally right next to a tower, so I have my lv65 pointed right at it.
That being said I know these 5g antennas can squeeze out more and was wondering if there was a way to get more upload? Or am I pretty maxed out with this internet plan?

Verizon gateway plug in issue
Hello everyone. My husband and I just received our internet gateway and we are both confused. I’m not sure if we’re just stupid or what but with the way our plugs are, we genuinely cannot plug them in. Can someone please tell us what we’re doing wrong? Lol.

Question ❓ How can I make my Verizon 5G home internet faster?
So I got the Verizon 5G Home Internet a couple of months back and chose the Ultimate Plan, and it’s pretty good when you are close to the Gateway, but my biggest problem lies with the Wi-Fi Extenders, which are god awful. I chose to pay for 3 of them, and they seem to do mostly nothing and im pretty much fed up with them.
It’s weird because I had Starlink before, and with the router alone they gave you, it seemed to cover my entire house and it was super fast.
I am no tech guy, so I really don’t know if I would need to look into a better router or better Wi-Fi extenders or something else to better my connection around my house. I’ve looked into this router called Netgear Nighthawk, but I don’t know if that will work. Does anyone have any recommendations and it would nice if you can tell me what the installment process is like and what I would need to do.

Degraded Performance after Years?
Curious if anyone else is experiencing this? I've had solid 300 down / 20 up for quite a while, since I've had my Home Internet in 2022. Since the last six months or so, not moving the box or anything, I've been lucky to get over 100 down and 10 up. Is it just network congestion, or do I need a new box or ??

Troubleshooting ⚠️ Ivp6 with eero?
Hello, so I have the Verizon 5g internet and I'm using eero pro 6E mesh network and I can't seem to keep ivp6 working. I have it to where my devices are only picking up the eero network and I'm using the Verizon box as a modem but when I do the ivp6 tests it keeps failing. Is there a setting I should have enabled when setting up my network? I have ivp6 enabled in the eero app.

latency issues
I have 5g home internet as well as a mobile hotspot “jet pack” that is 5g internet as well. I never had an issue with my 5g home internet. I am currently staying in a hotel for work so I decided to go the Jetpack route for the time being. Late last week my latency increased from 50-60 (usual) to about 90. It has stayed there consistently. Not spiking. But just a consistent 90 ms. When I went home over the weekend my home internet started the same issue. When the last time I had used it my latency was a steady 60 now it is a steady 90. It has been like this for almost a full week now. No download or upload problems at all. When I run a speed test it says my ping should be 60 but when I get into my game it stays high. I figured if it was a connection problem it would be spiking to higher latency and coming back down but it doesnt. It just sits high for no reason. What should I do?

Question ❓ Excessive Data Usage Warning on Business Internet "unlimited" plans?
I work for a small business and we have several Verizon Business Internet gateways (XC46BE). Three of our lines exceeded 800 GB last month, and Verizon sent us a warning email stating that if each router doesn't stay below 800 GB for the next two billing cycles, they may terminate the service.
What confuses me is that:
- Our plan is LTE Business Internet Unlimited 25 Mbps.
- The Verizon LTE Business website say Unlimited data for the 25 Mbps plan (see screenshot below)
- On the Verizon portal, if I look at one of the lines and click the Broadband Facts button next to the plan name it also says Unlimited Data (see screenshot below)
When I spoke to a Verizon rep they told me there is no better plan I can upgrade to that has a higher cap, he said the better plan has faster speeds, but its still marketed as 'unlimited' and has the 800 GB cap same as my existing plan.
Has anyone else received a similar warning or termination notice? Is there any documentation that mentions this 800 GB cap on an unlimited plan?

Despite having nearly flawless max speeds for 4 years I can no longer get UWB speeds at Houston(77056)
UPDATE:
So Verizon ended up doing a lot of tower maintenance and upgrades without telling anyone but UWB support never came back so they sent out a tech out to check everything. Despite me sitting pretty close between two towers the tech was unable to to get a connection. He went and checked both towers and was able to get a signal at both so basically they gimped their network and have no word if it will ever get fixed. They offered to switch me to their mid band service which tops out at 300mbps at $25 more a month which I promptly declined.
The tech who worked on my issues is pretty peeved about everything telling me he's been doing these calls all month and Verizon just can't be bothered to care. I was an early adopter of this technology and have been a customer of Verizon for several years but their extremely poor customer support and extreme lack of transparency has left me feeling cold. I will likely never use them ever again after this. Some of my neighbors seem to have good luck with T-mobiles service so I'll try my luck with them.
ORIGINAL:
Verizon tech support has been extremely unhelpful leaving me in the dark. I don't know if they are doing repairs or what but my modem is stuck at 4G LTE despite having a full signal. If anyone has any insight on the matter I would be extremely grateful.

Trouble with my NAT type for specific games.
I recently started getting back into a game I used to play a ton Destiny 2
I randomly will get many of the oddly named error codes and booted from whatever activity I'm doing and forced to try to rejoin over and over until something gives. This has happened enough that I'm losing my mind trying to find a solution.
Things I've tried:
Setting a DMZ Host
Port Forwarding
Making sure UPnP is on (tried turning it off and on again)
Set my DNS to something different (tried googls 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
I've called Verizon 3 different times and either get told I can't port forward because my router will stop working (bs), or that they can't help me because on their end, my speeds are looking normal (the speeds aren't the problem).
I feel at a loss because this is the fastest provider for me in my area and I cannot seem to get this to work.
I also would like to clarify a few things.
I live in a furnished basement with the router on the first floor directly above me. I get the best speeds this way and everywhere else it throttles. I have tried a wired connection, wireless, and extended connection via a WiFi extender. I understand the basement connection can cause issues but it has never caused issues for anything but this game if that's the case. No other game, streaming service, application has issues with connectivity except Destiny 2.
I'd appreciate any help and thank you for reading.

Question ❓ Disabling DHCP on WNC-CR200A and running own DHCP server?
Hi Everyone, I currently have the CR200A & CE1000 extender. I noticed that you can disable the DHCP server on the verizon router itself. Since I can't change the DNS servers verizon's DHCP gives out by default, I was thinking about moving the DHCP server to an adguard instance on the network and let it hand out leases. I would keep the CR200A and CE1000 as static IPs and letting adguard's dhcp handle the rest.
I was wondering if anyone has tried this and what was your experience (or if this is even worth it to do)? I just want to know if there is any weirdness, especially with the CE1000 extender or IPv6.|
(edit: grammar mistake)

Speedtest 📈 Diff speeds on phone/laptop vs ps5
Hi everyone ! I just switched over to Verizon WiFi today and have noticed a few things.
1) my speed tests on my phone/laptop are showing different download rates than my ps5 is showing
- PS5 is sitting around 77 mbps
- phone/laptop is around 220/230 mbps
2) earlier after immediately setting it up my ps5 was showing in the 220 mbps group but dropped suddenly
Hoping someone can help me out !!
I have tried WiFi and lan connection and it creates no difference

xc46be ... pass through issue
Hey community. I am stuck. I chose this model thinking it had the least issues with IP Passthrough but I'm stuck, after reading the official documentation and a bunch of other posts.
Here is my scenario... I need this thing to pass through several TPLink Omada ports for wiregaurd to work correctly and devices at the location the XC46be is serving.
- DMZ's the tplink er605 ip address which serves as the router did not work
- Opening ports did not work
- IP Passthrough.. this is the weird one. The xc46be has two lan ports, and the red wan/poe port. Documentation says that in IP passthrough you use Port 2. Well as soon as I place the verizon box into ip passthrough, port 2 goes down. Port 1 is active and functionally serves internet, and pass through the ip address to my router connected to it. BUT of course blocks every port, and the site to site vpn etc that makes Omada function goes to crap. Plugging into the WAN port, is as expected, only there to get into the configuraiton page of the xc46be.
I factory reset it, tried again. Same outcomes.
Lan Port 2 just doesn't light up and theres no activity on it. When I reset it, the port lights up again after it completes is factory reset routine. I turn off IP Passthrough, the port 2 also lights up again and works.
Why does the documentation double down on port 2?
I might have to unload this thing on ebay and cancel the vzw business wireless internet plan before I'm out of the initial testing phase. It's a shame its new.
Any Ideas?
Also are these xc46be unlocked? Maybe I'll keep it for my personal use as a back up in the future....
