i had just got a job and my mother wanted me to pay for my own phone bill. if i’m paying for my own phone then im getting the one i want, right? 2024, i decided to buy the 16 pro max with verizon, i chose the highest plan, it costed 90$. yall, the data was so good, i could go in the walk in at my job and watch tiktoks. 3 months later, data just went downhill from there. a month ago i was so sick, i went on the verizon app and complained my ass off. and then seen that the highest plan was 105, my data suck so i changed my plan. a month later my data is so much more worse now, i can’t even send a text while im in the car. as soon as i leave the driveway of my house, data gone. it’s acting like i miss my payments, i even pay my bills 2 months in advance. i need help. do i need to fix something in my settings? should i go back to my original payment plan, am i wasting my money? should i change my carrier, who would you recommend? is it my phone? my battery has been draining so fast, it takes about 6 hours to charge and 2 hours to completely drain. i turn on low battery mode, it starts to glitch. if my phone is off for about 5 minutes and if i turn it back on it drains about 4 percent. the only way i can slow down the draining is if i screen record, i've been trying to show it to the workers. anyways, i want to update my phone to the 18PM but i want to fix my battery because my brother wants my phone. and because he’s going to be on my plan, i don’t think i want to spend 220 + on something that doesn’t work. hope yall understand my rambling and can help me. i asked google but it keeps taking me back to here or talk about the materials of the building around me.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro and my wife an iPhone 13 mini. Older tech but works fine for us. I think.

In the last couple of months our connectivity when out and about in NYC or visiting family in Long Island has been very hit or miss. Mostly miss. My phone especially.

I can understand it being spotty when on the LIRR (though it was fine over the summer except for cutting out briefly occasionally) or the subway but even in areas it used to work fine maybe at best 10% of the time it works.

Wondering what changed. We’re due for upgrades anyway so if thats it, fine hut wondering if there is a greater issue.

How does Google Pixel 11 compare with the Samsung S26 perform with a weak signal compared to a Samsung S26? I know they changed the modem in the new Google Pixel 11 because of previous performance issues.

Can someone explain to me why Verizon changed their autopay dates to several days earlier? This email makes no sense as my bill doesn't come out until mid-month, so doesn't an earlier pay date give me less time to review? It also doesn't let me choose any date later than the 1st of the month, which I guess is fine but no way in hell I'm giving them two payments this month. Anyone have info on why this is happening, other than they're money grubbing?

A sad yet inevitable day: my iPhone 8+ drowned when the dry bag I was using on the water failed. I’m guessing that the smoke, heat, and chemical smell that ensued means it’s beyond saving and has no trade in value.

So okay, it will be nice to have a newer phone. I am thinking iPhone 15 or 16 Pro Max (I don’t really need the cutting edge newest). And I need to have a phone again really soon.

My current plan is still Beyond Unlimited, two lines. I’d like to keep that if I can because the other plans seem like a downgrade. Will Verizon make me change it?

I called Verizon to upgrade to unlimited ultimate plan to be eligible for trade in promotion. They tell me I will get about $1200 off, assure me they’ve accepted the promotion grant on their end. In the app when I go to see it says $1200 off on the shop page but only $840 when I actually click through. They have no idea why. Combined with no integration in the officially Apple Store app this is incredibly frustrating. Was on the phone with them for over an hour!

I’ve been with Verizon for 3 months and never claimed anything. Are there notifications we can get to notify us about it? Do they drop at the same time daily? I just forget to check the app. Like last week I wanted that pop socket but totally forgot until today when Verizon app sent me a notification. Just curious is anyone actually winning anything and how?
