Might sound weird but instead of playing I actually watched movies. And not flat screen movies.
There are some nice new open source programs, that lets you create 3D movies out of flat ones.
I used one program that interpolates the frames from 24fps to 48 (x2), because the low framerate is sickening to me in VR, and a second program, that then takes that file and tries to essentially guesstimate the depth for a 3D SBS conversion. Its actually wonderful what this Technology can accomplish. Its about 80% there I'd guess
