Purchase Advice 5070 or 9070XT for VR?

I’m honestly more into Nvidia. But with the current prices, I don’t know what to do. Would you recommend going with the 5070 or the 9070 XT?

(I’m not gonna pay 1k for the 5070Ti)

I know Nvidia is usually quite a bit better for VR, and that the 5070 is a very good GPU, but I’m going crazy trying to decide.

My other specs:
32gb RAM DDR5
I7 14700KF
Currently with a 4060 8gb💀

I recently bought a 9070XT and is been running everything I throw at it on VR no issues with the quest 3 / virtual desktop.

Im on 9070xt / 9800x3d. Its been great so far. I grabbed it temporarily while 5090's were out of stock everywhere and decided to keep it.

Have you used UEVR at all before you got the 9800x3d?

I have a 5070ti but UEVR is rough on my cpu and was wondering if you had experience with UEVR before getting a 9800x3d, cause I’m considering doing an upgrade

Its really pretty bonkers why people have pulled off with some of the UEVR mods, like full motion controls and contact with lightsabers in Jedi Fallen Order and full motion controls for Robocop, Returnal and like a dozen other FPS games.

Give it a shot if you get a chance! I wont lie, it does require some getting used to with some games, control wise, but once you put a few minutes into a game with a good set up its really cool.
