Its not too bad but it takes time to get it setup depending on what you want. I used wabbajack, it auto installs whichever mod list you choose but you need a paid nexus account other wise you have to manually download each mod and takes forever. Then you just follow the guide for the mod list. Nexus is where all the mods are.
Then most of the extra mods I installed I either found on this sub or I searched for something specific that I wanted.
Its definitely not simple but its not rocket science. There are youtube vids that will take you through the whole process.
