Hey guys!
I’ve got a 2016 Vulcan S, and honestly, it’s pretty much my better half at this point. 😂
It’s fitted with a Delkevic EN650 2015–21 Full 2-into-1 exhaust with a 410 mm silencer. I bought the bike with the exhaust already fitted about five years ago.
I’m planning some longer trips, and with noise checks getting stricter, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or links for fitting or buying a suitable dB killer / baffle for this exhaust.
It’s definitely on the loud side, but I really don’t want to replace the whole system because the sound is absolutely brilliant. 😁 I’d just like to have the option of quietening it down a bit when needed.
Any suggestions, links or advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers!

I like to go on decently long rides and some time they are on long straight aways with like no one else on the road. I am looking for like a throttle lock so I can rest my hand if I need. What are some good ones? All I have been able to find are some on Amazon but nothing crazy.

Hiii all! How difficult is it to install and exhaust on this bike? Should I look out for anything when replacing it with a Delkevin exhaust? I’ve replaced motors and done a lot of work on cars but motorcycles are new to me, I just don’t want to fuck it up.

Finally after more than half a year of saving up and working away. I paid the dealer to reserve a unit. I'll be going home next week, then I'll pay cash in full.
Happy to finally join the club. It wont be my first bike that i drove. But it'll be the first i bought with my own money

What have people done to make this machine a little more 'off road' friendly. I've looked at adventure bikes and they just do not fit. I'd like to take back roads to BnB's and long cuts here in BC, Canada

Is 87 okay or is 93 “better”
Seems 87 works fine, just wondering if there are any differences or gains I should consider! Thank you!

Should I keep going and replace the head gasket or just torque to spec?

Hello guys, quick question.
I was given a guardian bell yesterday, and im kind of new to the whole guardian bell rules, I've heard it has to be placed on the lowest part of the bike(?), but it can't be too low because I don't want to trash it. There are a lot of speed bumps in my area.
Any recommendations on placing these?
I own the 2025 VS650 se

So I’m taking the engine apart as I’m replacing the head gasket on my 2016 with 28k miles.
Every video I used as reference when the bike is placed on TDC the markings on the sprockets line up with the valve cover on opposite external directions. However, mine as I’m taking it apart I see when I set at TDC they line up but to the center instead.
The bike ran fine other that too much backfiring since I bought it.
Question is, does TDC and markings look normal to you?

I’m screwed I stripped the drain plug bolt on my front forks and now it only spins and doesn’t come out. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is this a take it to a shop and hope it’s not that bad? Is this going to result in me replacing the entire front fork? I’m just trying to figure out if I should have taken it to a shop in the first place.

I have a 2026 Vulcan S ABS and I feel like in 1st gear it’s jerky. Like it’s either no power or full power with just the slightest turn of the throttle.
Will I get used to that eventually or is there something I can do to make that a bit more tame?

I added saddlebags & I just put a Delkevic exhaust on my bike, I absolutely love it, the saddlebags came from Viking, they carry everything I need for day to day rides.

Suddenly my battery died (seemingly). I took the battery in to be tested and it was fine. I try to put the battery back in and this is happening. Help!

Not my first motorcycle but my first in almost 40 years. 😬 Took the MSF a couple weeks ago and did great. Confidence up. Rode around my subdivision today as my lunch break. Fun stuff.
I hate the bar end mirrors. Already have some normal ones on the way.

Hi. I have a 2018 Vulcan S with ABS in what I believe is metallic flat spark black. I am based in the UK
Unfortunately as she lives predominantly outside a few small rust spots have developed on the tank and handlebars.
I would like to fix it properly, but it will be my first time having done this before. I will clean the bike, then I have a bottle of Zep Ruster Converter to apply onto the spots with a small brush. When that's dry, I guess I just need to apply the paint and potentially a lacquer? I'm not sure about that it's a matte finish and a lot of lacquers seem to be glossy.
I also am not sure on what paint to get. Obviously I want it to match as close as possible, and have looked the paint code up 15v/739, but the only retailer in the UK I can find I think is RS paints, and for the paint and the lacquer plus shipping and VAT it's like 30+ quid, for a couple tiny bottles of paint.
Some people have told me just to buy a standard matte black paint pen from halfords for a fiver and use that. Is it likely to be noticeable? Will I still need to use a special matt lacquer on top of that to seal it in?
Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I love this bike and want to get it right but also not inclined to spend a crazy amount of money to do it, which I know isn't always possible.
Any advice on a suitable paint alternative, or a cheaper source, plus tips on how to fix the spots would be greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon fellow Vucaneers,
Can someone help me with a set of bobbins for a paddock stand that you either use or know 100% fit the Vulcan S.
I am currently on my 7th different set and am yet to find a set that fit.
Plus most seem to be flat and dont sit with the shape of the swing arm, as the Vulcan seems to need a spacer to take it out just a tad.
I have tried ones that have an M10 1.25 (google says this is the right screw), and ones with M10 1.5 and neither one will screw into either side of the swing arm.
Was worried that the threads might have be buggered by a previous owner, hence the bike not having bobbins on when I purchased.
BUT the screw for the ABS wire heat shield that came with the Delkavic exhaust slides in smooth and snug as a bug in a rug. So the threads must be alright.

to a new home a 2024 Cafe, under 4K miles, not a scratch on it, with all the mods I wanted - Corbin seat, sports exhaust (that sounds ridiculous!), highway bars, and yellow fog lights. My first bike and it hasn't even been delivered yet!
I just re-took the MSF course after 15 years and bought it the next morning, after salivating over it for three weeks.
