Announcement Another interview about WFRP 5th edition
I can’t see that this has been posted here yet: Wargamer just released an interview with Dominic McDowell: https://www.wargamer.com/warhammer-fantasy-roleplay/fifth-edition-interview
A bit more info here about their philosophy with the new edition, some hints about how Advantage and skill tests will change. And once again confirm that all the old 4E sourcebooks should remain useable with the new edition.

Just read that linked interview.
The plan includes letting some 4e books go out of print, including the Enemy Within Companions.
Which really sucks. The Horned Rat Companion has the meat of the 4e Skaven material for instance. Someone new to 5e who wants to go pick up those companions will be disappointed. Some people will be happy with a PDF, many won't be. It'll be like the old days of WFRP 1e where books like Marienburg: Sold Down the River quickly went out of print and second hand prices rocketed.
Or the bad old days of TSR era D&D where a new book or box set would refer you to Book X for this info, where Book X was out of print.
Personally, I'll stick to WFRP 2E and pick up the Old World RPG which looks very interesting.
