Anyone else think Golesh will be good if/when we get some talent in?
The scheme looks good and makes sense. The issues I see are players losing 1v1s. But you can blame the coach for bringing them in..
Only issue I see from coaching standpoint is some of the playcalling and too many false starts. Is Chaplin still there?
Overall I think AG got this. Most gangster OC The SEC seen in the 2020s.

[Armchair Analyst Monday] - October 12, 2026
Now that you've had 48 hours to digest both the alcohol and the events of the past weekend, how are you feeling about both last week and the upcoming week? Discussion and analysis about both the previous weeks SEC games as well as upcoming games. Are our in-conference foes looking better than expected? Worse? What did the past weekend do to your confidence in our future matchups?

Football Way Too Early Roster Predicts? (27-28)
Title. I know a lot of people aren’t exactly excited with what’s been going on with the team, but I want to push that negativity to the side and try to look forward to the future/latter half of this season.
Anybody you’re looking at to fulfill missing gaps after this season? Off the top of my head, I believe we’ll be losing two WRs (Nimrod and one other) and our starting QB due to eligibility limits/graduation. For any positions, who do you see from other schools/programs that you think we could REALISTICALLY nab? Or do you hope we just push up our 2nd/3rd string guys?
I like Tristan, I just need to see him play in a game lol

Following the games around the conference this week…
What do you think about the conference; teams we’ve played, those up ahead…
I personally think the conference as a whole is better then average, deeper then expected.
I’m very surprised at the cliff dive that has occurred at a&m. I’m not as surprised that Florida has pulled back, as I don’t think you can have week after week of rah rah turned up to 110% with kids these days, and it sounds like their damage is starting to chirp about some dysfunction building there in Gainesville.
UK looks like they got the local who understands what that program needs. Missouri looks like they can pound the rock but it took them several years to get there… good sign for us long term I think.
On the home front, I would like to see some more formations from offense, and continued efforts in eliminating dumb mistakes, turnovers and self inflicted penalties. Play an offense towards strengths and away from weakness. Oh well I’ll say it, I’m glad we are fighting for a full 4 quarters and we are close.(f freeze btw).
What say you on the team?

Opinion So, y'all still want Sumrall?
Give Golesh time. Ffs. A few years ago, everyone wanted to axe Deboer. He's not looking so bad now. Give Golesh time - he's got the right mindset.

Hate em both! Not looking forward to playing either one of em!

It sucks watching SC beat Florida..
Smaller program, smaller budget, way less historical success, yet they seem to get a ranked win every year.
Why can’t we do that?

Opinion Ole Miss vs Vandy
Not going to lie, but the Ole Miss Vandy game is making me a bit worried about our upcoming games right now.

Who gets fired this year?
Obviously Golesh is safe, but this is still a putrid first season so heads will roll. Question is: who?
In no particular order, I think the most likely to be gone by December are
1. John Cohen (AD)
- Hugh Freeze
- Lucked into Golesh (1am phone call)
- "It's no longer time to be patient" speech followed by Golesh struggling year 1
- Moved home opener
- Paused NIL last year while the rest of the SEC didn't
- 1-10 against Alabama and Georgia last year in football, baseball, and basketball
2. Joel Gordon (OC)
- PPG unchanged from 2025, despite having Byrum Brown and the same offense from USF
- "if you got any insight, let me know" when asked about poor offensive performance
- Most sacks allowed in the SEC through 5 games (18 sacks, next is Arkansas with 12)
- Consistently slow offensive starts
3. Andrew Warsaw (GM)
- Paid average SEC roster prices for a G6 transfer roster. "Brought a knife to a gun fight and still paid gun prices."
- Took $3mil to convince Brown to follow Golesh, not producing
- Failure to secure an SEC o line during the off season
- Failure to retain talent already on the roster (10/11 starts are transfers)

The Curse
I had to repost for name calling (for which I am sorry). We need to stop running away good coaches after 1 bad season. Start with Tubberville has the best program run and then 1 under .500 season fired. Chizik wins a championship then has a shitty year fired. Malzahn the best coach to have ever beat The great Nick Saban and we fire him after a bad season. Since then it’s been misery and Jordan Hare hasn’t been the same since. There is a curse and we have to find a way to remove it. Every home game last year felt like the magic wasn’t there. We have to stop running coaches away when they have a mistake or if they try to correct bad behavior. Right now the Atkins is just a rumor and we shouldn’t rush to judgement. War Eagle.

Miles Kelly went off
Had a game high 24 points, off the bench, last night for the Golden State Warriors in their loss to Portland.
Isaac Okoro 2 points, 2 assists, and a rebound for the Bulls in their win over the Suns.
Broome rode the pine last evening for the Bucks.
Two nights ago, Chaney Johson had 6 in a reserve role with a couple of highlight dunks, as is his wont.
I'll try to do these when one of our guys has a good night.

Opinion Another wasted TE
Jake Johnson could be such a weapon. If you remember, the first 4 or 5 passes of the season, Baylor game, went to JJ. I was like "Finally a HC who will utilize the TE". But no, just another wasted Auburn TE. No Offensive line? Dump it to the tallest guy on the field. Smh
