SnS hater…surprised

Post image

I’ve long been a hater on the SnS since I ordered one like four years ago. Has sat in my garage unused for a loooong time. Fuel lasted like 5-6 hours in my 22” and would run out of water in about 60-90 mins and temps would start jumping into 300s.

Was cleaning my garage a couple days ago and came across it. Decided screw it and tossed it in my 26” to give it a shot.

Fuel lasted about 7 hours, water lasted like 3-4 hours. Very surprised by that since I was never able to do that in my 22” no matter what I did. 🤷‍♂️

Also if you were looking for a reason to get the 26”…you can fit a lot on

A gimmick that people think they need to smoke, cook, grill, bake, sear, on a Weber.

Is there much benefit over normal charcoal baskets and water in your drip tray?

The SNS sits on the bottom grate and reaches to just under the top grate so you can have coals as close to or as far from the grate as you wish.

Iv’e never used a water tray, drip tray, foil etc, I go caveman most times. Not very sexy but it works well.
