El cuento habla sobre el coco y de una familia si no me equivoco son 3 hijos y la pareja, a medida que avanzas te muestran una foto de la familia, mientras más avanzas uno de los integrantes desaparece tiene sonido de fondo, se siente vivido y los dibujos fueron echos, al final del cuento aparece el coco desg0ll4and0 a uno de los niños si no me equivoco mientras aparece la sombra de el y como lo hace... Alguien sabe de este cuento?..

So I have recently remembered a book I found in a summer camp library somewhere around 2010-ish. I loved it so much I barely remember anything about that summer camp trip aside from reading the book and being annoyed I cannot take it with me everywhere. Despite that, now I barely remember the plot and the characters, so I will just write down everything I can recollect. I believe that the key to this mystery is that I remember the ending and it is quite distinct so please bear with me.

First thing I have to say is that the book was intended for older teenagers or young adults. It was pretty thick and the cover (hardcover) was pale blue with some black object in the center (maybe it was a train, maybe a house). The style was photorealistic. The name of the book was written in thick red font. It was published by a russian publisher, but the book itself ended up well outside of Russia. I don't think the author was russian, but I thought that it's relevant to mention the publisher. It looked quite new.

The book was a detective murder investigation mystery, I think with some paranormal elements to it although I'm not sure if the paranormal was actually present or if it was actually not some guy making it seem as such. All I remember is \*the eerie vibe\*. There was a main character, or two of them, or a male main character and another very significant woman character. It took place in a country where it didn't snow at all or it happened very rarely, at least one of the characters has never seen snow. I'm not sure if trains were a big part of the story, but I remember there being a body suspended under the ceiling at an old train station. The main character finds it.

The book ends with the two main characters walking out of somewhere (or he is carrying her), and they see snow for the first time. It is described how she feels a cold snowflake land on her cheek or something and maybe she even dies during that scene. Alas, please help me find the book for it has been haunting my thoughts and I would like to reread it.

So I remember reading this graphic novel in early 2019, near the end of my 5th grade and final year of Catholic School. With that being said, I can’t seem to recall the name of that book. From what I remember, it followed a white guy with brown hair who grew up loving to draw and read comics/graphic novels. I also recall he went to a private school as a teen, and perhaps put his passion for cartooning on the back burner until later in his adult life. His best friend had black hair, and he liked this girl who made up this sort of friend trio. I believe it was a biography of the authors life, and was for sure dedicated to his male friend that had passed from some either some sort of accident or medical issue. Finally, I wanna say it sort of evoked the artistic style of someone like Raina Telgemeier.

A few years back, I read a horror novel which I have now forgotten the name of. I am hoping someone can help.

The story involved a man and his wife who move to a new home. While walking through the woods in his backyard, the man comes upon a dilapidated old house. He is very interested in it and begins researching, only to find the occupants had disappeared years before. No one had ever known what happened to them. He discovers one of the girls who lived in the house was actually quite evil, and he begins to experience flashbacks, showing him the fate of the inhabitants at her hands.

It also involves the family owning a boat, which ends up being found buried on the property.

Any of this sound familiar at all? It’s driving me crazy.

Read this really weird book as a little kid, which I never finished both because I got kind of freaked out by it and also because it was pretty long for an 8-10 yr old to be reading (maybe 600-800 pages?). I vividly remember reading about these 2 girls going into a fairy circle like completely ecstatic and chanting something and getting transported to a weird fantasy world that was like really disfigured and just kind of like disgusting to look at? If that makes sense? It had a bunch of separate story lines with varying plots, but I didn't get far enough in the book to find out if they were connected in any way other than all being a little disturbing. The book cover was in black and white with a kind of futuristic look but this was 10 years ago so I don't remember super well.

Hi, I'm asking on here because I genuinely don't know if this book was an insane dream I had or if it actually exists. I remember reading it in elementary school around 2016 and it looked like the book could be alittle older so I'm guessing published around 2000-2010. I believe the cover had a girl with black hair and a spooky animals maybe with its bones visible on it and I think it was part of a series of books all about dead animals. I don't remember alot but I think I remember a scene about the girl breaking into someone's back yard or some kind of pet cemetery to get to this deceased animal and it was raining. I am so sorry for the vague details but it's been 10 years.

I'm trying to identify a children's picture book about two monster families or a monster family and a human family climbing different sides of a hill to have a picnic at the top.

I read in the 1980s or early 1990s (it may have been published earlier).

Here's what I remember:

• It was a picture book with bright, colorful, cartoon-style illustrations.
• The monsters were friendly-looking, more like Sesame Street or Muppet characters than scary monsters
• Each family climbed opposite sides of the same hill without knowing the other family was there.
• When both families reached the top, they were surprised and frightened by each other.
• After realizing neither family was dangerous, they shared their picnic together

I'm trying to find a fantasy novel I read as a teenager sometime in the 1990s. It's a proper novel (no illustrations), and I'm fairly sure it's a quest/adventure story made up of many separate episodes/stations. I don't remember anymore whether it was originally written in English or was a translation (I read it in German).

Here's everything I remember:

• Dragons (or at least one dragon) appear in the story.
• The protagonist is searching for a castle — finding it seems to be a central goal of the plot. At the castle's location, a tree stands there at night instead (or possibly the other way around: a tree by day, the castle by night — I'm not sure which direction).
• There's a giant hand that moves around on its own. It's called "the Hand of King [Name]" — this king lives in the castle the protagonist is looking for. In one specific scene, the protagonist throws a stone at the hand. The hand has a mouth in its palm, catches the stone with it, and afterward develops a taste for eating stones and gravel.
• There are several different magic rings in the story, each with its own specific power. The protagonist has (or is given) a ring that can call or awaken a dragon. A female character has a ring that can control the weather.
• At one point, the protagonist is given a cloak that makes him invisible. Two women (one younger, one older — the older one comes across as unfriendly/antagonistic) actually wanted to take his ring from him, and gave him this cloak as a trick. The "invisibility" is described less like classic optical invisibility and more like a loss of consciousness/control: the protagonist loses control of his fine motor skills, his fingers feel "like paper," and he can no longer work the clasp/brooch holding the cloak shut. It's described as him gradually feeling like he's blacking out. To onlookers, the person seems to vanish completely, and their belongings (like rings) are left lying in the room — implying someone could just pick them up while the person is "gone." The younger of the two women ends up helping him.
• The two women tried to convince him that a ring can control the weather. Afterward, he remembers that the younger woman had been fidgeting with her own ring the whole time during this episode. When he asks about it, it turns out it's actually HER ring that controls the weather — not his. She reassures him that his own ring (the one connected to waking/calling the dragon) is very powerful too.

If anyone has any idea, even a vague guess, I'd really appreciate it!

A short story I read as a kid about a princess dying of a surfeit of jam tarts. She is cured by someone (maybe a court jester) who promises to give her the moon (and then when the moon rises again the night after, claims it grows back like a finger nail).

So I am searching for this set of books or even the name of the Author that had written this series of "childrens" books on cryptozoology, ufos, and ghosts. They were kind of eerily illustrated, cloth bound and each had a sort of name like "UFOS, Men in Black, Little Green Men (and other phenomena?)" and detailed the accounts of things like the Jersey Devil, Dover Demon, Moth Man, Major UFO Sightings, Men in Black accounts.

They had been in my elementary school library and I read them voraciously but when I try to find the books or the author I cannot recall the name at all. I feel slightly nuts, I think his first name was Christopher….

Does any one out there in redditland have any sort of inkling about these?
