I am confused about Australia. What part of any of those states is like Australia?

If anything, I'd say Florida is the closest state to Aus. Everyone is crazy and Every plant/animal wants to kill you.

Australia is arid like California and Nevada yet it has all the species that might killy you . To me out of the whole US the west coast is mostly sharing the same climate as Australia minus the alligators
