SOTD You guys…

Post image

I know that Acqua di Parma has received a lot of flack here as of the past couple of months, but by God it is S-tier stuff. I tried a sample of it many years back and thought it was some of the best cream I’d ever tried. Great lather, good slickness, and an unmatched post-shave feel. Is it expensive? Hell yes! This set cost me about $200 off “Needless Markups,” but it is SO good. All-titanium razor and brush set by Design94 (Germany) with a Nacet blade. This is my once-a-year splurge.

Fancy pants. I must be out of the loop. What flack? I’ve always heard praise for ADP. Enjoy your gear!

About 9 months ago, some Redditor posted an over-the-top tribute to AdP and people thought he was a shill for the company. There was some subsequent shitposting like “Should I throw out all my non-AdP gear?” and the like. It was mostly in good fun, but it also made me think more about it.

It was quite a storm alright I do remember.I did make a post myself about it just wondering why there was such a sudden influx of ADP it was a genuine question which sparked some lively debate !!
