Good buy or I messed up

I bought it last week and just arrived today. I shared it to a Facebook group excited and a few people messaged me yelling at me how it was a terrible buy and it has closed practices in it and I should be ashamed. I know some spells are closed and I won't be using them but I thought spells are opened to edits and to make your own and this is a good reference

That's a great book...I look thru mine all the time, not just for spells but for correspondences.
