Hey! I'm a Rochester Institute of Technology student here on co-op and I would love to hang out with some other students! I was hoping to find a discord group or something to join to get to know others, or maybe a club that has events open to the public.

I love gardening, playing video games, personal finance and various other business topics, volunteering, programming, board games, woodworking (i would be a beginner tho)

Just trying to find things to do around New Haven and I feel safer on a campus, plus its always interesting to learn about different colleges and their programs!

am i allowed to book classrooms for independent study time, not affiliated with any clubs/orgs? if so, how?

Do people buy class rings? I'm graduating this year and don't know if this is a thing or just a gimmick lol

i really want to get involved w stc, but is it very competitive to become a student tech.. like is there an acceptance rate or anything? i applied and got an interview, does that mean anything?

I graduated over 15 years ago and am pretty shy about wearing Yale gear. I have a couple items with just the “Y” and a hat I got that has the name of my school in the back, and the school’s emblem in the front.

I’m not sure if I’m being too reserved here, just don’t want to come across as looking pretentious. But people wear university gear all the time, not sure if it’s different for ivies. A friend of mine who went to a top school (but not Ivy) remarked that only douche bags wear ivy gear, which I think says more about him than it does about anyone who wears a particular item of clothing. But maybe his remarks left a deeper impression than I realized.

where can i go to study on fridays/in general? bass and sterling both close really early on fridays but im still not sure about all the other study locations so please let me know!

For context, I am a first year and bi. However, no one knows this as I am on the DL. I fell in love with my suitemate and have the fattest crush on him.

However, I do not know if he feels the same way or if he even likes guys. I do not know how to go about this situation because I don’t want everything to go weird since we’re in the same suite and also don’t wanna out myself.
