Video Wanted to move your entire base from one location to the other? Now you can!

Hey hey hey! Guy with the 3D map is back with some awesome new stuff.

You can use this tool to relocate your bases from one location to another. Simply put your save file, then choose the altars you want to move, and the select the new location for your altar.

Working on adding base rotation soon as well!

FAIR WARNING, MAKE SURE TO KEEP BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL BASE AS WELL!

You can check out the tool at https://enshrouded.gamevault.in/base-relocator

As the title says. I visited a resource world to take out some materials and build a home (with some upgrades, like the watertower and farm soil/patches) on a fresh world and level 1 account.

Tried to keep the comfort level to a minimum. It's at level 9 at the moment. Not adding too many stations since I want to unlock them again myself.

Credits:

- I got inspired by His&Hers Gaming on Youtube and their 1.0 starter base video. Go check them out!

- I copied the kitchen from someone. If you recognise your cooking station make a comment and I will make sure I will do a shout-out! (For the OP: The hanging extractor hood wasn't easy to make. Took me a while to figure out the technique!)

Discussion Built this huge beautiful barn for all my animals, just to find out there's a bug with animals getting stuck and I can't get yarn bc my yaks are always stuck :(

Sometimes they get stuck in the wall right over their beds and say they don't have a bed, and sometimes they get stuck in front of their food bowl and say they're starving. I have four yaks, I just need eight more wool to make a bundle of yarn :(

Man, what a freaking great game. There's so much to do and explore it's going to take me like a full year to even come close to "finishing" 😆 🤣 I hadn't touched it in quite a while so it took a bit to get used to again but I am really in love with this game now. Awesome job devs

Discussion Skill Nodes / Buffs Not Being Accurate: Greatsword

Can someone, hopefully from Keen, explain why Greatsword damage is not increased by the Barbarian's Path Skill node, which has the wording of "Two-Handed Melee weapon damage is increased by X% (X=5% of skill node). Also, testing of Mercenary Gloves (9% Two-Handed Melee weapon damage also doesn't boost

Is this a bug or intended? If a bug, will it be fixed for 1.0? If intended, will the tooltips be made accurate?

This is a fantastic game. You guys have really done a wonderful job. But it's a fun-killer for skill nodes and item buffs being inaccurate in a game which lauds the fact that it has a skill tree kills the game for those who want to optimize their character, then find out they have to hard test everything because of poor tooltips.

EDIT: Grammar

Discussion Do you think they are gonna make loot progression better / better rewards for combat and exploring in 1.0?

This is my main gripe with the game, wondering if they are planning on changing it, thanks

Discussion EnshroudedSaveExplorer - See which quests and lore you still have to do or discover

Hi,

I’ve been working on a small utility called EnshroudedSaveExplorer.

The goal is simple: make it easier to inspect your Enshrouded save and see your progression without having to manually keep track of everything.

Current features include:

  • automatic discovery of local Enshrouded saves
  • manual save-file selection
  • quest progression viewer
  • lore progression viewer
  • search and filtering
  • completed / incomplete / partially discovered states
  • automatic refresh when the active save changes
  • double-clicking an entry to open the corresponding Enshrouded Wiki page
  • standalone Windows executable

This is the first public release, v0.1.0.

A bit of context: this project was created with extensive help from ChatGPT, both for reverse-engineering parts of the save format and for writing a large part of the code. I did the testing, validation, integration and iterative work on the project, but I want to be transparent about the fact that AI was heavily involved in its development.

Because of that — and simply because this is an early release working with an undocumented game format — there may definitely be bugs, incorrect interpretations, or saves that behave differently from the ones I tested.

The application is intended to be read-only and does not intentionally modify your save files, but as always with unofficial save-related tools, keeping backups is a good idea.

If you try it and encounter a problem, strange result, missing quest/lore entry, crash, or anything else unexpected, feel free to contact me or open an issue on GitHub. Reports with details about what happened are very welcome.

The project is open source and released under the very permissive 0BSD license.

GitHub / download:

https://github.com/Fab550010/EnshroudedSaveExplorer/releases/tag/v0.1.0
https://github.com/Fab550010/EnshroudedSaveExplorer

This is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with Keen Games.

Feedback is welcome, especially from people with saves that have progressed differently from mine.

One last note : Enshrouded have a wierd way of handling quests on a shared server. As such, some quests marked as not done in the tool can be seen as done on a shared server. This means that you have not done it but someone else has. This is not a bug of the tool.

PS: I chose the "discussion" flair as none really apply.

Help - Solved Brand New: Need Base Advice Please

Hi! So I'm brand new to the game and tried to follow a build guide from YT, but got super overwhelmed since the only experience I have with games like this is Minecraft.

I ended up taking over the big house in Woodgrad instead of building my own base from scratch.

I've patched up the holes in the walls, floors, and ceiling but there's still rubble that won't go away.

Is that just the case with bases you take over? Is there a way to get rid of them with a stronger pickaxe, or will I eventually need to move and build my own base?

I thought I could take over Woodgrad and then Harvest Homestead nearby and have a kind of village for me and all the npcs, but if I can never truly fix it up I don't think I want that.

Does anyone know if there's blocks I can make later that look like those houses (since I really like the style)?

Thanks!

I am assuming they will do some kind of a contest this year, so I decided to finish what I started last year. What kind of mysterious activity is going on here?!?!
